I switched to ASICS tennis shoes after a painful experience playing in Nike shoes (I actually lost a toenail), and ASICS has been a game-changer. As someone with a narrower foot, I often struggle to find a comfortable fit. These ASICS feel snug without being tight, offering the support I need without sacrificing comfort. Considering the price difference—Nike models around $200 versus these ASICS at about $70 (and I got them on an additional sale!)—the value is outstanding. They deliver cushioning and stability comparable to higher-priced options, making them a smart choice for budget-conscious players. Traction is superb on both clay and hard courts. I’ve noticed confident grip during quick lateral movements and sharp stops; the outsole pattern really hooks into the surface, so I don’t worry about slipping or losing footing mid-point. The shoe holds up through frequent play, with the sole showing minimal wear so far. In summary, ASICS tennis shoes provide a narrower, secure fit, excellent traction on multiple court types, and impressive durability—all at a fraction of the cost of premium-brand options. Highly recommended for anyone seeking reliable performance without breaking the bank. Read more

Light weight. Broke in the first time out. Pretty comfortable. Flexible uppers. I only wore them about 8 times and the rubber is already smoothing. I got six months wear out of them before too smooth to wear. That’s playing pickleball about twice a week, so about 50 wears. Read more

The ORANGE color is eye catching, which I'm good with. The size is similar to my other Asics shoes, BUT, it does seem to be a little narrower in the arch, but gives ample toe space. I guess I'm not surprised since you want better support for cutting in pickle ball. I've worn the shoes around the house to break them in and they feel good. I can't wait to hit the courts with them on. My new nickname shall be, ORANCE CRUSH. I've now worn these for over a month, 4+ matches and I'm happy. They give great grip on the court and they are comfortable, they seem to work with my foot contour perfectly. I've always been an Asics fan, and that trend continues with these shoes. Read more

I started playing pickle ball this summer on hard courts outside and my regular running shoes didn’t work on the hard courts. But as I started playing more aggressively my shoes have been sliding on the court. This made me invest in the court shoes and glad I chose these shoes. For the price I paid, these shoes have a great design and the fit is amazing. As I mentioned I needed a good pair of shoes that can withstand the slides on the court I was having and these shoes 👟 worked great for me. Another good thing about the shoes is that they are super lightweight and comfortable. I absolutely recommend these shoes for anyone who is planning to use them on hard courts. Sports I played with this shoes : Pickle ball and Tennis. Read more

A little stiff when wearing and the toe area started to rip after a few times. Might be because of the way I play but still this area is not well protected like other models. Read more

These shoes felt wrong upon arrival. The center of my forefoot felt like I was stepping on a mild rise in the sole and I attributed it to the "gel" perhaps needing to flow outwards from the center front of my foot. HUGE MISTAKE! A month later and I have now developed metatarsalgia, the shoes are worthless, and I have no recourse other than to treat my right foot and hope the symptoms will resolve. I have never had this problem before. I should have listened to my body the moment in first put these shoes on. Further note. The marketing ploy of using the word "Gel" is terribly deceitful. From all I can see, these shoes have a hard, poorly constructed sole where the upper is glued to the sole and for all I know I've been standing on a poorly designed intersection of fabric and glue. Worse, the insert that floats on top of all of this is a thin, cheap piece of foam with no gel material present anywhere in the shoe. Final note. I have worn Asics shoes for years, and I couldn't tell you how many pairs I have worn through playing tennis. This, however, is the end. I am so angry. Angry at myself for not returning them immediately, angry at Asics for a lack of quality control and process, and angry at Amazon for fostering a system where retails appear to dump their defective products here that they couldn't sell in the stores for all of the reasons I've noted above. Buy something else. Anything. These will cost you more in health, fitness, orthotic inserts to correct the problems they cause, and pain than there could ever be worth. Read more
