I now have this sweater in the deep red after buying it in the ivory/white color. They are both THE SOFTEST sweaters I've ever owned, without being clingy or losing shape. I don't usually buy long cardigans but thought I'd try them since I wear leggings all the time and like to dress modestly when possible. I prefer it open in front but with a partial front tuck, it could work well buttoned as well. It is a little warmer than anticipated (but more from being soft and fuzzy, it isn't bulky at all), but we're still fighting the last straggling days of summer here. In a week or two, it will be perfect for around the house or errands, etc. And the button detail on the sleeves just elevates the style factor a bit, without looking like it will be outdated next week. Definitely adds some style to a wardrobe staple that I've come to see as more utilitarian. Adding that little bit of interest, and its cozy comfort, makes an ordinary chilly day at the desk and computer just a little more, again, elevated.
