Lucky me
I was apprehensive yet undeterred by another reviewer saying this was child's size, and I'm so utterly pleased with how it fits. I'm 5'4" 120lb busty, broad shoulders. I used to be smaller and fit into kids clothes as a young adult, not so much these days - less tolerance for things to be too tight. This was hard to get on, and I felt/feared the base of the rhinestones snagging on my lion's mane, so I wore a satin bonnet on my hair to put this on and later to remove. Removing it was harder than putting it on, could have used an assist. The shoulder seam hits me perfectly. Not off shoulder like shown, right where a tailor would sew it on me. It drapes looser in the pits. I'm totally unencumbered waving my arms around, I can go feral. The front piece that goes across your chest does tend to stay bunched up slightly after I raise my arms, but not in a way that I think I'd notice or mind when not looking at myself in the mirror. And it could have been from friction with my halter shirt, maybe less of that on bare skin. It looks like chainmail, or like part of an edgy supervillain suit. Or like arcane dark magic. There's a lot of directions you could go with styling this versatile piece, besides generic clubwear. I am pathologically always dressing up. I'm so happy with it. It's so comfortable to wear and move around in, and so eye-catching at the same time. The sleeve length is also nice, great planning (net orientation of pieces not mismatched) and stitching, no errors. Read more
