I bought this to carry on my motorcycle. I’ve had dead batteries, a couple of times and I don’t wanna get stranded in the middle of nowhere. I’ve used this to jumpstart it and it worked great. It’s a bonus that it also fills tires. It’s a little loud, but it’s very fast. And so easy to use. You just set the air pressure you want, push start, and it’s filled up in a few seconds. It takes hardly any battery. I haven’t used it on a car tire yet. It might take a while to fill a car tire. It’s pretty small and compact and comes with different adapters for filling up air, mattresses or balls or presta valve or Schrader valve. I plan to get one of these for each of my cars too. This should be in the trunk of every car on the road. Having an air compressor and jump starter/power bank on hand at its small size can save you in a pinch. I’m buying one for everyone I care about, that’s how much I like this product. The newer version where everything is attached to the body is even better. No need for extra bags and boxes. But who her one you decide on, it’s a great purchase. Have used multiple products, multiple times. Works exactly as intended. When using the usb output to charge your phone, be mindful to turn the S8 off when you’re done charging. You will unplug your phone and see no illuminations, assuming it’s off. It is not. This was a gift for my son, which I just got to examine in-person for the first time last month. This power pack is surprisingly compact, for it having both a jump start and inflation functionality. The activation buttons seem to be a little over-sensitive and the actual start-up time for the unit takes a little longer than you would expect after activation (causing you to conclude the unit has a problem). I bought this during the black Friday sale and I just used the air compressor part of it for the first time today. I have not yet used that battery jump starter, so I can only comment on the air compressor. Using the air compressor is fairly straightforward, after you have done it the first time. And it worked very well in filling my car tires as well my bicycle tires. The one thing I don't like about this item is that the instructions for how to use are not very useful. I had to call the AstroAI customer service to get help in figuring out how to use the device. Their customer service is excellent, and they quickly helped me learn how to use the device. However, I would recommend that the company include this information in the packaging. However, the device itself seems very good and useful, once you figure out how to use it. Read more
I like the measuring system, it works like a digital tire pressure meter, by 0.5 pounds increases, inflate fast enough for its size, pretty clear screen, inflating hose heat but comes with a cover to avoid burns, light is a little dim, portable and fits in the space between front seats, behind or below the seats.
