This monitor is excellent. The color range is wide and very accurate, which is perfect for me as a graphic designer. It also matches the colors on my laptop really well, so working between both screens feels seamless. Great choice if you need reliable color performance. Value for money Read more

This is an excellent monitor for the price. Crisp, bright display with accurate colors. The 27 inch display is a perfect size and you can adjust the height to fit your needs. It also can rotate in a vertical orientation if that fits your workflow. Read more

I've been using two of these with a Mac Mini for over a year. A great setup. No issues with the displays whatsoever -- the Mac mini can be a bit weird with two displays, but that's a separate issue. Read more

You could call me a monitor enthusiast at this point. I own everything from old CRTs, a range of VA and IPS panels in both ultrawide and 16:9, to a $1000 LG Ultragear OLED. And yes, a couple nice Asus Proart IPS panels like this one which I use for both gamedev and pixel art, and gaming because they are versatile and can handle high desktop hour-counts in a way that OLEDs still can't. So my primary gaming monitor is a 21:9 LG Ultragear OLED. It's fantastic, but as most people know by now, not every game supports 21:9 natively, and additionally that is a 40" 3440x1440 monitor so the pixel density could be much higher, and that basically prevents me from using DLSS because you really don't want to resort to DLSS on a monitor with about ~100 PPI. To that end, I wanted a more pixel-dense 16:9 monitor with the best color quality I could get for a reasonable price, so that I could play obligate 16:9 games (such as Persona 5 Royal) or performance-intensive games that require DLSS on my GPU (such as the Oblivion Remaster). Enter this Asus Proart 1440p 24" IPS panel. It's pixel dense, the colors are potentially very good for an IPS panel. There is a bit of a warm tint from the factory, but that is easily resolved with a small teak to the built-in RGB Gain setting. HOWEVER, this is not an especially contrasty monitor. I not only have OLEDs and VAs with better contrast ratio (which is expected), I even have affordable IPS panels with a comparable or better contrast ratio. It's not exactly bad for an IPS panel, it's just not great in that particular way. Now having said that, it does accomplish what I wanted. The accurate colors, high coverage, and extensive controls built into the monitor allowed me to tune it to make games look very good. This is the first monitor (other than my OLEDs ofc) where I was able to tune it to get correct calibration images in every game without game-specific tweaking. It is indeed very pixel dense, and allows me to use more aggressive DLSS in demanding games without undue blur or artifacts, while keeping convincing scenery and rich colors. This did take manual tweaking however, since professional accurate colors and pretty in-game colors are not always the same, and this by default isn't calibrated to be PRETTY, it is calibrated to be ACCURATE. It can take work and knowledge to mostly accomplish both at the same time, but at least this monitor has the quality and controls to allow that to happen. In other words, this monitor has potential to be very good, but you need to know what you're doing if you want to use it for real-time content like games. Read more

Color is excellent straight out of the box. The first I've had in a very long time that did not need brightness or contrast or anything really adjusted just for normal desktop computer use. I am not a photo editor but I appreciate being able to see a fairly accurate, sharp picture. It's easy on my eyes as they are much weaker now that I'm older and sometimes have trouble reading the print on web pages with the old monitors. But this one, I can read it all easily. I do not have any ghosting, my background is solid black so I'd notice. No dead pixels, and no problems with compatibility since I run windows 10 and not a mac or something. I just plugged it in and it worked. Uses a standard power cable and not one of those things with a power converter box in the line. So plug in that, the DIsplayPort (or HDMI, I tried out both), and it just works. I like the buttons on front unlike those that complained about them. My last 2 monitors had buttons on the back that were terrible to use. My only dislike is that it has an audio chip. The sound chips on monitors are always terrible. And naturally the OS detects and wants to use it. NO. So I go in and disable that. Gamers might want to give this monitor a pass since it's 60fps. They'll need at least a 144fps monitor. I no longer play games that make 144 or higher essential. I do play but I play MMOs that are fine with 60fps. And this one has such a better picture than my 144 fps! So it's in a corner and should I need it, I'll plug it up but until then, I'll enjoy being able to read the text easily. Read more

We are so very pleased with this product that we purchased 2 of them! We have a 2019 MacBook Pro and a 2020 MacBook Air and this monitor provides greater picture quality at a very affordable price. We had previously ordered the a Dell 32" curved monitor that did not provide the clarity of the ASUS and tried a 4K 32" Dell that had good sharpness, but it would randomly go black because of incompatibility with our older MacBooks (not even work on the Air model). The ASUS product looks great, has USB-C so we can now power and communicate with our Macs using a single cord, the sharpness and brightness of the picture is amazing, and the numerous features are incredible. We are so thankful for being able to purchase these on Amazon! Read more
