This is quite a mouse. I'm a photographer and can spend many hours a week at the computer developing photos, making slideshows, etc. While I do use an extra gaming keyboard (RazerOrbweaver) for lots of keyboard shortcuts, I have all the buttons on this Spatha programmed as well; +- values, special scrolling, etc. And, you can do several profiles and this thing knows to auto swap to the settings for the active program. I keep the DPI switch set to a faster (get things done) setting and then, in one click, I slow it down for the fine work. This is a big mouse, and a bit heavy, but I actually like that. I've gone from more of a fingertip user to more of a palm user and it's become more comfortable for me to work a long time, and the weight just seems to add to the quality feel and handling. One drawback-at first-was not being able to easily pick it up due to the button placement, at least without pushing a button. But now I do it without thinking about it. And, though it took a little getting use to, I'm now using all the side 6 buttons, and the extra 2 on the top left, regularly without hunting. Click feel on all the buttons is very good. This mouse glides quite nicely too, on a quality pad. I would almost take off one star just because it's a pricey mouse but I'm feeling now, after a couple months of use, that it's worth it. Battery life is good for what I do. I don't know about gamers, but for me, with 3-6 hours of routine mouse use a day, I usually get a couple days before I think to check the charge level. Then I just through it on the handy charger overnight, and I'm good for a couple more days. Last, though it doesn't matter really to me, this is not only a comfortable mouse, it's pretty sharp looking too. Highly recommended for sure. Read more

The idea of this mouse is great. It looks amazing too. However, it is on the big side and is a specialized mouse. It is great for RPG games and programs that use keyboard shortcuts. It is NOT an fps mouse or a general computer mouse. It is not for the average person. Let's get that clear. If you are a person who does not use content creating programs like Adobe programs or who does not play RPG games, do not get this mouse. If you want an ASUS mouse to complete your ASUS ROG setup, get a Gladius II mouse. Armoury software WAS glitch-y at one point, but Asus has cleaned up their mess and optimized their program to run smoother. There are many profiles for this mouse, so you can link programs to each profile. This is what makes this mouse different from other mice with multiple buttons on the side. I gave each profile a different color so that I can quickly make sure that I am on the correct profile with my intended button layouts. This mouse does have firmware updates, and you can update the mouse and dock through the Armoury software. I am not a content creator myself and I don't play triple A titles, so the mouse would not be used to its full potential. When charging the mouse, my computer is usually off and the dock has no power. So, I have to plug the USB to a wall adapter to charge the mouse. First, you have to turn the mouse off, then dock the mouse on the charger. You can use the mouse with the cable connected, but that would deem the wireless function pointless. Overall, I love this mouse because the looks are so aggressive and I'm sure I would use it to its full potential one day. Read more

I have hurdle just perfect Mouse for around $170.00. I found it at Amazon for around $152.12. It is by far the perfect mouse. It has everything that a true gamer would want are need. I could not ask for more in a gaming mouse. I own a Asus G751JY Gaming Laptop and this works very well with it. It is what I believe to be the perfect gaming mouse. It is by far the best that I have ever had. Gaming mouse buttons take a lot of punishment, and that's why the buttons on ROG Spatha feature durable Omron switches with a 20-million-click lifespan. The exclusive switchable socket design allows for easy customization too. ROG Spatha comes with fully-programmable thumb buttons with Alps switches to give you tactile feedback. The six buttons are arranged to resemble the iconic ROG eye and are designed to provide intuitive control and feel. ROG Spatha utilizes a high-speed wireless connection for high data throughput and low latency to ensure all your movements are tracked accurately. And once the battery runs out, you can continue using it while charging, all without losing response and performance. ROG Spatha has an aggressive angular design that stands out. You can even customize the LED light effects on the scroll wheel, side buttons and ROG logo from a wide range of colors. Between all of this is the reason that I gave it a perfect 5 stars. I believe that any true gaming will also love them. Like I said it is the perfect gaming mouse. Read more

Love this mouse, getting a second ones since it just recently started glitching. Scroll wheel/thumb button started doing weird stuff, pretty sure is because my little toddler has messed with it lol. Got this mouse in 2016 and neve rhad had problems with it til just recently with the new Asus Armor Crate, so the software issues im having is the rgb/profiles seems to reset it self or something. It's anoying since i would like the rgbs to match my rig, other than that mouse has been fantastic, really feels ergonomic in my hand. Tried the g600 before this and it felt weird in my hand.
