Atelier meets Zelda. Open world. Fast combat. Lots of battle options for attacking and defending. Can swap characters for quick counterattacks. In-depth crafting and synthesizing. Takes problem solving and studying map to get around cliffs and canyons. Can double jump to work your way up certain routes, but can't climb like in Zelda. Can find markers to quick travel. Gunstaff allows for some cool effects like gathering materials from afar and lowering an enemy's defense before battling. The guided synthesis option helps select best materials for crafting weapons and items. Can build your atelier from scratch. Atmosphere is a little more subdued than past games like Lulua. For someone who has played the Ryzas, Mysterious series and Lulua, I recommend this game. Read more

If you are going to play the Switch version of Atelier Yumia, I HIGHLY recommend doing so on a Switch 2 over an original Switch. The Switch version is an enormous downgrade over the PS5 version, with very rough visuals and performance, but at least the game is a bit sharper (due to dynamic res) and maintains 30fps on the Switch 2. El juego es maravilloso. Es un open world en el que da gusto sumergirse. Yumia es una protagonista encantadora y los secundarios también son muy buenos. Para ser un Atelier, su historia es muy seria y madura... Obviamente no esperes una narrativa del nivel de los Legend of Heroes, pero sí es lo suficientemente buena como para mantenerte deseoso de avanzar en el juego hasta el final. Pero, por encima de todo, este juego es genial para gozar de un momento de relajación mientras juegas... Si tuviste un día ajetreado en el trabajo, un cierre con Yumia te relajará...
