The Wrangler ATG Synthetic Utility Pants have quickly become one of my favorite pairs for both outdoor activities and everyday wear. The material is lightweight but tough, with just enough stretch to stay comfortable whether I’m hiking, working, or on the move all day. They breathe well and don’t feel heavy, even in warmer weather. The pockets are actually functional without being bulky, and the fit is modern without being too tight. I also like how fast they dry — great if you get caught in the rain or sweat a bit. If you want durable, comfortable pants that can handle the outdoors but still look good enough for casual wear, these are an easy recommendation. Read more
The utility and quality are great. Comfortable to wear in my manufacturing job all day. The extra pockets are good for earbuds or whatever. Value for the tough pants are worth it. fit was as advertised. I will def be getting another pair or two. They look good too. Read more
These are my every day work pants and hiking pants. They do run big so order smaller than you usually wear. Most of my jeans (Levi's) are 36x34, but these are 32x34. I have some that are more than a year old and show no signs of wear or pilling. Quick drying and super comfortable! Read more
These are nice and comfortable. They stretch nicely if bending down. If you're walking through an area with lots of thorns, these will not provide any protection. But stickers (if you have them) do not stick to the pants, which is nice. The only downsides that I believe knock these down a star are the pockets and belt loops. First, the pockets are too small. I have an iphone 14, and it just fits inside the pocket. The zippered pocket is a little too low, and items hang around my knee. Finally, I think they need to add another belt loop or two. But this seems to be common among these types of pants, at least that I have seen. Not sure why this is. Overall, i would still recommend these as they are comfortable and relatively inexpensive. Just hope they are durable. Read more
Relaxed fit, has sone give and fabric is smooth and comfortable. As a big guy I appreciate a good fitting pant that only needs a belt and won't strangle anything below the belting. These pants provide the room and don't chafe. The bonus pocket is okay for something flat but like any thigh levels pockets if it's not soft it will bang against the leg. The fabric is lightweight and definitely water repelling to some degree as a dishwashing incident I had proved out. They are also quick drying. I would not consider these pants cold weather, but few pants are made for that, and fewer of those could stand to be inside, so realistically the give and other qualities in these ATG pants make them ideal for daily wear in and out of doors. Solid fit, durability is awesome, the material thickness on the doubled knees are very noice, the tapering of the pants are nice for mobility, they definitely get a little warm in the heat but nice in the winter and add some good base layers and it's not bad at all in the snow. Haven't experienced any shrinking after washing. The little stash pocket is pretty solid and the zipper is so smooth enough for one handed operation. A solid utility pant you have to try. I did get one size bigger for a tad looser fit Read more
My husband loves these pants! I got them for him when they had them on sale. They fit him well, are comfortable, don’t lose their shape, & dry super fast (so he doesn’t freeze outside if he gets wet during the day). They’re lightweight, so I’m curious to see how well they keep him cool in the summer. He is VERY hard on his pants, so I’m also curious how they hold up. But I bought him 3 pair about a month ago, so far so good. I’m not sure what other things men look for in pants so I don’t know what else to report on, other than they are NOT too huggy…if that makes sense, lol. I don’t actually remember how much he weighs, so ignore the weight thing! He is like 5’8” & got the 33” inseam, which is perfect. He has a very minimal sized belly, if that helps anyone. Read more
No luck with work clothing purchases. I like the pants overall. They ran a little large in waste for a 32/ 29. Length was good. Purchased for work & I like that their weight is light for travel & packing. I’ve washed them twice now. First time they were hung dried. Second time I dried in dryer as per care instructions. The issue I have is both pairs have significant piling on the back side & look worn. I don’t physically work in these pants. As in sliding around on my rear end etc. I sit in a chair. It seems the fabric isn’t strong enough to avoid this wear issue. Rest of pants are great, aside from this issue. Read more
