I already love these boots! Bought black in 7.5, which is my size and they are just right. Not too tight or loose. No scrapping the back of my heels. Comfortable and lightweight, not heavy or clunky. No problem putting them on. If you REALLY intend to wear these with thick socks most of the time, then maybe go up half a size. I like mid weight or thinner smart wool socks or stockings so I went for my true size. They do NOT look cheap or flimsy. They look really chic and smart and sexy. I put them on the first day and was worried my feet would die as I broke them in... but No!! My feet were happy all day. Didn’t feel like throwing them across the house when I got home either. After two long wears, and one was a concert, these were surprising to say the least. SO comfy right out of the box. I looked at a bunch of chelsea boots including higher end brands, and I am glad I chose these. I wasn't expecting much for the price tag, but figured if they didnt hold up long, I could only be so mad. I'd say sizing was accurate and I went up half a size for thicker socks coming into winter. The style looks as nice or nicer than the fancy ones, love the ribbed edge all the way around the top of the sole. For me that's a fun detail. They're perfect for jeans and fall sweaters. What I didn't expect was the comfort. As a gal in my early 50's, so not sacrificing comfort for style anymore. These are super cushy in the footbed, in a lovely memory foam sort of way. The sole is super flexible and they feel bouncy and light while walking. The thicker socks just add to that making them quite cozy and they do not feel like your weighed down wearing a boot. Also, the top opening of the boot was just the right size. No rubbing or strangling the lower shins. All in all Ladies....just Yes! I can solidly recommend. Great value, durable boots, true to size. I got these for a work / vacation trip in the fall to very rainy, cool places and these boots worked cute city clothes and were pretty good for mountain hikes, too. I averaged 4miles / day of city walking, too, and stayed dry and warm. I’ve rated them 4/5 stars because: people, maybe I don’t know the current definition of “leather” but these are not cow / animal leather. There are total advantages of fake leather in terms of durability and these look nice, so I’d love Amazon to require the seller to be honest about these. These are absolutely the most comfortable boots I own! They are the perfect length, sitting about 2 inches above my ankle. Some Chelsea boots are too short or too tall, these are perfect. The material is so soft and I did not need a "breaking in period". Right out of the box they were soft and ready to wear. They look really cute and way more expensive than I paid. I would highly recommend. These are a great, more trendy option than the typical knee high boot. Looks GREAT with leggings! Read more

Very nicely made. I like the style and the material looks very strong and sturdy to handle winters. I ordered the dark brown with the black side insert. It’s a pull on boot so it’s tricky sliding them on. I have to do it in a sitting position . My size is 6 1/2 and the fit was just right. They are roomy enough that I was able to wiggle my toes. The ankle area is narrower than I’m used to , but with more wear it will adjust. If you plan to wear double or very thick socks in winter maybe go up a size. I recommend this product and it’s a great buy for the price. Read more
