As someone who loves to be barefoot, I'm always in search of shoes to allow my toes to splay as naturally as possible! Style and Feel: These shoes have a decently wide toe box, without looking like clown shoes. I just received them, and initially they are a tad stiff. Insole/footbed is super comfy, feel like I can walk in them for hours. Velcro strap allows you to find the right adjustment for comfortable heel support. Fit: I'm usually 6.5-7, so I went with a 6.5 based on the wider toe box and they fit perfectly. For my feet, I normally have to go up a size if the toe box is narrower than my toe splay. As a barefoot shoe person, I feel like they could maybe be 1/8"-1/4" wider, but hopefully they just need to broken in a bit. Cons: I took one star off because they are too cloppy sounding to me LOL. The sole feels rubbery but somehow I still sound like a horse when walking on hard surfaces! Also, I'm not sure how long the velcro straps will last... Overall: I'm always on the search for dressier shoes with wide toe box without paying an arm and a leg, so I'm happy to see the shoe market expanding with wider toe boxes at affordable prices. I bought and wore this shoe on a trip to Curaçao and knew I would do a lot of walking and they have rocky beaches. The style is great and has good support. I marked it down because on the first day of wearing; after a couple hours sight seeing the straps on both shoes began to fray. The outside picks up stains/marks easy but you can wipe off/fix.
