I am 5'4 . size 8.5 all araound. I have troubled feet though and these are comfortable. I have MS, Arthritis, Neuropathy. OMG I CRIED when I had to give away my shoes. There's a real movement now towards adressing the emotional side of adaptive clothing in terms of allowing patients to express themselves. anyway. Before all that my feet tended to be on the narrow to normal side, and arched. with pretty well proportiioned toes. I preferred platform and fitness rocker type shoes to flats which often caused the arch of my foot to ache or the sides of the shoe to be too spacious offering not enough support. My road with age and disability has involved experimenting with a lot of shoes. Even 700$ custom made orthopaedic shoes that I threw out. I've gone from an 8 to an 8.5 over the years which is normal depending on the shoe maker. The main problem for me and people like me is that often a shoe that fits will crowd and cause pain on the top of the foot,These: They fit. They don't crowd my toes. The sole is supportive. The top pushes up against the lower shin a little. The arch doesn't touch the shoe. They have good cushioning. I left a detailed review because I find it difficult when people leave reviews saying that they like something but don't tell us anything about themselves or why they like it, so I hope this helps.
