For the price point, these shorts are TOTALLY worth it! The butt scrunch is not as tight or restrictive as other shorts/leggings I've tried. It gives a subtle shape without showing too much. The scrunch strip can somewhat be seen from the back or when bent over, but it looks like it's a seam in my opinion. If you're looking for more obvious scrunching and a clear separation of cheeks, these shorts might not be for you. These shorts are the perfect length for me! They prevent chafing of my thighs and are tight enough where roll-up occurs, but doesn't cause discomfort. I do have to adjust at times with a specific workout, but thigh roll-up is just an inevitable problem for me unless I get circulation-cutting shorts. The compression is perfect for me! Not too tight or too loose. I'd say it's pretty true to size. I'm usually in-between XS and S. I went for S to be safe and have kept ordering S in these shorts! They all are pretty consistent with sizing across colors. The waistband has good tummy control and is perfect for my short torso girlies! Finally, they are squat proof! The darker colors are not see through. I can do leg days comfortably in them. I would be wary of sheerness in the lighter colors. I bought 1 in lilac purple and it was a bit sheer in the cheeks area when bent over or squatting. However my underwear doesn't peek through, I usually wear skin tone or neutral colors anyway. These have quickly become my favorite workout and lounge shorts. I have ordered so many colors! I believe I have ordered almost all the colors at this point. I have one pic of the initial lot I ordered, still have some coming in! Beware, there will be fold lines. However, they do come out in the wash. I wash all my athleticwear in mesh laundry bags and air dry. I definitely recommend if you are on the fence!!! I've shared these with my friends and family as well!
