He does not say "crispy critters" in Russian. I'm not sure if I should type it here because the phrase does contain a Russian expletive, but it translates to something completely different. What he actually says sounds better and is funnier. This is the Soviet Union for crying out loud. There is no place for these English speaking characters. Maybe if they attempted a Russian accent at least. But I doubt that would help (*cough* Metro). It just feels so...lame. I can't find the right word. Listening to the characters speak Russian makes it feel much more authentic. It fits the tone, and immerses the player in the world that much better. The quality and caliber of acting is so much better too. The English voice over is half assed, and...just plain horrible. It's a nice way to learn a bit of Russian as well if one is interested. Other than my suggestion/complaint I absolutely love this game. It ended much too soon, but the DLCs do a good job to make up for that. And as for all the flak this game has been getting in the media (and from some reviewers) because it's Russian....why did you buy it? They have offices in Cypress, yes, but also in St. Petersburg and Moscow.)) Vladimir Putin would approve this game.) Read more

Product was good. Shipping was fast. Game is fun and hard BUT there's a glitch a couple hours in where you have to solve an obstacle course and push a button that triggers a cut scene. As of the time of review there's no patch for the PS5 version for the copy that randomly encounter this bug. Want to love it and give it 5 but the bug really breaks my spirit Read more

I enjoyed this game. It was fun and challenging, a first person, single player game kinda like Bioshock. But had I known this was created by a Russian developer I may have done some research to find out whether the company supports Vladimir Putin and his dirty war in Ukraine. I don’t want to support that venture but it might not be fair to punish every Russian company. I’ve since read that the developer is now based in Cypress and considers itself anti war. I’d still like to know more. Read more

The controls in the game are not intuitive and are not common like many of the popular games on the market. The voice acting is HORRIBLE. I wasn’t expecting top tier stuff here but man it’s bad. I e only played a few hours so far but to this point the game is very boring. Not saying there isn’t action. Because there is. It is just boring enemies and puzzles. This game is awesome it’s like a throwback to 1990s bad language, not politically correct but full of aliens or robots and monsters that you have to fight it is a great game. It’s very difficult these days to find a first person shooter game, but this is a really really good one. I have literally played this game three times now because it has really great playability.
