If you're considering these, go for it. I got these to use as a swim bottom, cover-up, waking on the beach short, etc. They are so comfortable and versatile! I truly can't find any fault with them. I followed the measurements in their size guide and found them to be true to size. The high waistline is comfortable and flattering. There is a compression shorts type liner that enhances the fit and the look of this bottom. It is comfortable to wear in the water, and it dries quickly. It also was great for walking on the beach, wearing around the common areas of our place at the beach, and out for a jog in the neighborhood. I couldn't ask for much more. I felt comfortable, appropriately covered, and still had a cute fluttery look with the shorts during all activities. The material is great-- both the liner and the outer shorts. I'm apple shaped and have struggled to find swim bottoms that are comfortable, camouflage my post-c-section apron belly, but fit my legs without feeling like i was going to flash someone through giant leg holes. Either the leg holes are too wide, or the waist is too tight, or it's too low or too high-- nothing has fit AND been comfortable. UNTIL THESE! These are flattering, comfortable, dry quickly, and with the right top you don't need a swim cover-up unless you want one (they look just like regular shorts if styled accordingly). I bought literally 11 other types of swim bottoms to try out for our beach vacation and this was by far my favorite! They wash well (dry quickly and also withstand high heat in the dryer), stay in place (the legs don't ride up, the front lays smoothly to create clean lines, and they aren't too wide-- but they are somehow comfortably stretch to accommodate different thigh widths). A bonus is it's not a "loud" fabric (i have one of a similar fabric and it swishes so loudly it sounds like you're wearing a track suit from 1993--this one doesn't do that!) These are perfect! They give full coverage but are still really cute. The high waist is super flattering—feels slimming without being too tight. They do loosen up a little when wet, but I’d still recommend going with your regular size. I was worried they might feel like wearing clothes in the pool, but they totally don’t. They’re great for waterparks or theme parks since you don’t have to stress about getting wet. The price is so reasonable too—definitely worth taking a chance on.
