Gosh do I love these leashes! I got 2 of these for my huskies. The bungee helps to reduce some of the force on my arms, when they yank. The material is pretty thick, and seems durable. I've had these for about a year now, and walk my dogs daily, but there aren't any signs of wear on either leash. I love that there's a seatbelt part, so I can buckle them in when it's car ride time, which helps prevent them from jumping into the front seats, or from jumping out of the car when the doors open. It's nice that I can change the length of the leashes, as I let them have more leash when on walks, and then have the leashes on the shortest size when on car rides. I'm really glad I bought these. They're definitely worth the price. Read more

I love this leash. It wide and long, and also has some bungee in a section of it to allow that soft bounce back for you dog instead of a jaring stop. This has a great loop handle at the end as well as a rubber grip one down close to your pet in case you have to lift them up or need extra grip to hold them back and keep them close to you, giving more control. This has a safety slide on the collar clip as well to keep leash from accidentally coming off. Last but not least the leash also has a built in seat belt buckle you can insert in your cars clasp, keeping your pet in place and restrained in case of accident. Read more
I have purchased and used MANY leashes but this has every part I was looking for. 1) the bungee section that is only part of and not all of the leash. 2) the safety handle that is CLOSE to the clasp (fussy nit pick: I primarily use this handle when walking my dog so I would prefer the soft handle instead of the rubber}. 3) the auto-locking carabiner clasp which I find to be more secure than other types. It feels sturdy and weighty in the hand. I also like the shiny, silvery-black color. I wish all of the metal pieces on the leash looked like this. 4) the safety buckle AND that it is located on the clasp side of the leash instead of the handle side. This is not easy to find. It seems illogical to put the buckle on the handle end leaving too much slack for your dog to be sent flying during a hard brake or turn 5) the handle with neoprene on the inside. When I’m not using the safety handle, I wrap the primary handle around my wrist for added security. It is soft, comfortable, and doesn’t cut into my skin. 6) the large, sturdy, metal D-ring by the handle. I can attach one or more accessories. 7) the adjustable length which can be modified to your preference. 8) the reflective stitching. The TEAL color is basically how it appears in the description (on my iPhone screen). I would call it turquoise instead of teal. It’s a bright (but not neon) blue-green instead of green-blue. Not too light or dark. It really pops against my white/cream lab. *I also like that several colors are offered instead of only black and gray. I also purchased the purple. I love this leash. I have always used retractable leashes for my dogs, and never like the fixed length short leashes. You can push a button on the retractable leashes for the fixed length you prefer, but I had always liked to give my dogs a little room to explore. The retractable leash certainly takes a bit more effort when controlling your dog, and can cause problems if not managed wisely. But with my little dogs, I didn't mind. The main problem I see with the retractable leashes is getting your dog to walk with you, and that is what I have been trying to accomplish with my miniature Dachshund, who wants to smell everything and follow every scent, pulling hard in any direction it wants to go. Well, that doesn't work well when you are walking with someone else. The pulling and jerks were the biggest problem, regardless of what kind of leash used. The idea was to get my dog to walk with me, not pull me. Anyway, I was searching for a harness for my dog to use in car rides, and needed a leash that had an attachment that clips into your seat belt and to the harness. Well, that was the reason I purchased it, but it was also a regular walking leash, and it had a bungee like section that gave resistance, but didn't jerk when the dog pulled. So, I tried it walking, and was very happy with Piper, my Dachshund, in how she seemed to walk much better. She didn't have much choice, because the leash is short, so she stayed close to me, but there wasn't a lot of pulling as I have had in the past. I believe the subtle resistance when she pulls lets her know that she is wandering too far. When I was trying to order, I found a problem trying to order the lighter duty leash that would seem to be appropriate for a smaller dog. I couldn't get the color that I wanted, but I could in the heavy-duty leash for a large dog. Well, a short leash for a large dog is short for a small dog too, so I ordered the heavier leash. I can't remember what kind of difference there was in the price, but it wasn't significant to me.
