Overview: The house I recently moved to didn't have any pathway lights and it has some stairs from the street that's a bit sketchy to walk up especially when it's dark and raining so I looked for some modern looking pathway lights and I came across this product. Negative(s): -Battery life -Operation -Brightness Do any of the negative(s) affect my overall rating and/or recommendation? Yes, slightly. I knocked off 1 star because of it's battery life, operation and brightness. Although when I first set these lights up in my stairs and walkway during the day, they were only in sunlight (not even direct) for a few hours and they lit up, but then they didn't turn on the next night, so I decided to turn them off and let them charge for a couple more days. They lit up again when I turned them on but the next night they didn't turn on again, granted it had been gloomy and raining in my neck of the woods, so they may not have charged fully but that's not a good sign if these won't "charge" without direct sunlight. The jury is still out on these lights but when they work, they look good and are bright enough to light up my stairs and walkway. These lights could be brighter though, but the ability to change the colors and how all of the nearby lights change based off of one light is pretty neat. I just wished it had a remote control to do that but that doesn't affect my rating since this product doesn't have a remote control. I do like the simplicity with the way these lights look and how easy they are to assemble and adjust the height by removing or adding a pole. Overall, these lights look good and work good. Only time will tell how long they stay on and last, but I would still recommend this product. Read more

Bought the 4 pack, 1 isn’t working at all even when it has been charging in the sun - seems like the on/off switch is defective. Contacted the gigalumi service store email but have not heard back. My son-in-law-to-be is an electrician so he may be able to fix it. I do not have time to send these back. It said max 35 feet between two of them but the light does not shine that far. I needed these to light the hill on the side of my house for my daughter and family to see where they are going since they live in the basement apartment and use the back door a lot of the time. I just put them out at 10:15pm tonight on October 28 2025, and the wind is blowing a bit so we’ll see if they make it through the night. Daughter comes home from work after 12 midnight so I hope they are still on for her. I also wanted some that were taller than most - these are okay, and hope they last through the winter also.
