I like these August Auto Universal Fit Carpet Floor Mats -- they're pretty basic black mats but with a little extra pink/white flair. I especially like that the two accent stripes near the edge are a smooth rubber-like material that I expect to be more durable than the fabric ribbons that I anticipated based on the pictures. The fabric ribbon around the edge appears to be well-stitched. The description mentions a high-pile carpet but it really isn't -- it's a typical medium/low pile, but not super thin or cheap. The description also mentions a raised outer lip to contain spills/debris -- that is completely inaccurate, since it's just a flat pink tape/ribbon around the outer edge. The backing is a typical rubber-like material that seems sturdy without being overly thick or clunky... it conforms to the slight contour of my floor and lays in nicely. It has normal little spikes on the bottom which keep it in place without slipping. All in all these are cute mats with a fun pink accent that seem to be better quality than average for this price point. I'm surprised though at the description inaccuracies listed above -- if the description was simply honest and accurate (low/medium pile, flat edge) I'd rate the product at 5/5. Read more
