I am by no means a keyboard expert. I have modified a couple of Redagon K557, Keychron Q3 and V3 keyboards and they perform and sound good. This Aula F87 Pro sounds more thocky then all of those. I really enjoy typing with it. Further, I don't feel the need to modify it. It feels premium to me. Cannot give review on the wireless connectivity because I am still old school and simply us the USB cable for connectivity. The weight is surprisingly stout for a plastic keyboard which I assume is the battery and the foam layers inside. If your in the market for a mechanical keyboard beween$50 to $100, this should be on your list as long as other reviewers can validate the wireless connectivity and battery life. I prefer the 87 key 80% TKL layout as I have never been a 10 key guy and I prefer the arrow keys more separated on the layout than the 75% which squishes those arrow keys in toward the other keys. It is a good compromise size wise and still orderly matching a full size keyboard layout for my purposes and gets that mouse closer. Possibly an advantage with the model I have "Green-Black-White" is it has north facing RGB, so, you could update the keycaps to shine through letters for those that like to type in the dark :-) Read more

This is the hot swappable keyboard you want, but before deciding to purchase it. You do need to download a Aula F87 program to mess with the RGB. The switches by the way sound and feel squishy like almost pressing down a marshmallow with a nice light clicking noise. Read more

I honestly can't believe the quality of this for the price. The gasket structure gives it a really soft typing feel, and the pre-lubed Gray Wood switches sound incredible right out of the box (very creamy/thocky sound). The RGB is bright, and switching between Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz is seamless. If you want a custom mechanical feel without building one yourself, get this. Read more

Great looking and functioning keyboard for one the rgb and re-mapping software is easy to use, switches sound better than my keychron brown switches. I had the aula HE f68 before this and really liked it but I prefer a 75%. Has easily become my new favorite keyboard Read more

The media could not be loaded. For an 80% keyboard this is thing is RAD. The buttons are very responsive, so much so that you have to be a bit careful, a slight graze of an adjacent key can result in an additional key stroke. The "click clock" is very satisfying if you are looking for that mechanical keyboard angle. The 80% size is perfect for those who never use that irritating NUM pad on the side. So certainly not suggested for office work, but this board is great for gaming. A great fit to have your mouse right up next to your keyboard for those intense battle royal matches or end game boss fights. I really like the RGB options but if you are running the keyboard wirelessly it WILL drain the boards battery much quicker so I suggest if you are sitting at your desk you leave it plugged in. The battery indicator light is pretty nifty and will keep you updated on your keyboard status. It may just be me but I also feel like when the keyboard is plugged in there is less latency and and you get a little more responsiveness from your keystrokes. Minus the keystroke issues this keyboard is fantastic (I won't knock a star for it because it's probably just because my fingers are dumb). Compact, "thocky" like all heck, responsive, great battery life if you turn the RGBs off and visually pretty cool to use. Even at full price it's well worth it. If you can catch it on sale, cart it and check out! Read more

For the price, this is the most complete mechanical keyboard Iβve owned. Build quality is excellent. The case is a solid block of aluminum with no flex, and the matte finish resists fingerprints well. Total weight with batteries is about 2.2 lbs, so it stays planted on the desk. Out of the box it came with linear red switches (pre-lubed) that are smooth and reasonably quiet for office use. Connectivity has been flawless. I keep it on 2.4 GHz for my desktop (zero noticeable latency in games), Bluetooth 5.0 for my work laptop, and flip to wired USB-C when I want to charge and play at the same time. Battery life is genuinely impressive; Iβm at three weeks of 6β8 hours per day with RGB at 30 % brightness and it still shows 40 % remaining. Typing feel is very good. The gasket-mount design plus the factory case foam and plate foam give it a soft, slightly deeper sound than most budget boards. Keycaps are decent PBT doubleshot with crisp legends that havenβt shown shine yet. Software is basic but functional: you can remap keys, record simple macros, and adjust RGB patterns. I donβt need more than that. At this price point I was expecting obvious corners cut somewhere, but I honestly canβt find them. If you want a solid tri-mode board with hot-swap, aluminum case, and good wireless performance without spending $150+, this one delivers. Very happy with it. Read more
