This is one of those simple products that you buy understanding what its supposed to do, and then still get absolutely blown away at the utter quality it performs at, and just how well it does it's job. I use this for when my laptop feels warm, when I need a better view of my screen, or need more comfortable typing. Even with the kickstands detracted, having this installed significantly decreases the heat my laptop produces. I saw this in a video review and went out to grab it, and I could've never expected it to be as experience defining as it was. I actually use my laptop more because of these kickstands. I anticipated they'd last maybe 6 months or a year, but now I'm confident they might last me until I get a new laptop. They are sturdy metal, and spring loaded in the most satisfying way possible. The triggers feel amazing, and pressing them on accident is more of a treat than an inconvenience. They lock back into place cery sturdy, and with a satisfying click. It only has 1 height, but that height is perfect for virtually any surface, and especially shines when your seat is lower than the surface you're using. I was suspicious of the adhesive strength at first, but now am blown away at how fixed to my laptop these are, with no worry that they'll come detached. The 2 slip pads to apply to the front of your laptop are an amazing touch. This is one of those products I genuinely think anyone with a laptop should have. Every moment of using this is satisfying. Nice design, great quality, work great! I didn’t use them on a laptop, but for a display that needed to sometimes be at an angle and sometimes flat. Read more

stands tall despite being impressively low profile. quick to deploy, and fun to fidget with. i dig the sleek and stealthy design. removal + re-attach tutorial: 1) for clean removal without damaging your attached device, use a sturdy enough string (i used floss) to cut the foam tape that secures the leg and device (after getting half way, the rest can be laterally twisted off). 2) once separated, pull any remaining foam tape laterally for easier removal (afterwards, any remnant bits can be rubbed off with a paper towel pretty easily). 3) you can re-attach the leg, as long as you have some double-sided/mounting tape (i recommend at least 5 lb strength for laptops). just cut it to shape, and apply to the back of the leg. as of early 2023, there was a tiny quality control issue (had to replace a few times times), and they didn't always have coated springs (in the product images the springs are rust-proof coated, i've gotten uncoated springs a couple times). Easy to use, elevates the keyboard enough to see it without leaning over it. Edit: After a year of constant use on a large laptop, I started to notice that the keyboard height isn't as good as it was at first. Sure enough, the legs didn't want to fold in because they had bent slightly. I would have hoped that for the price they would have lasted longer. Perhaps if I'd folded them when not in use, they'd have lasted longer at the original height. I was able to reposition them to get a bit more elevation. Read more

I have bought and tried several products to solve for adding angled height to my MacBook Pro, but so far this one has been the best. The product is well made and neatly packaged. It comes with all accessories needed as well as a pair of extra sticky pads in case you need to take it off your machine and put it on another. The set of pieces work individually as a pair of legs and are triggered with a quick pull from a button/latch at the bottom of each piece creating a cool release mechanism. A couple of things to be aware and would recommend the company to improve is that they integrate a rubber or similar material as the macbook bottom pads to the pieces so they don't need to provide as stickers (why gray and not black?) So the laptop doesn't slide around in smooth surfaces. And the other would be to make the latch mechanism noiseless as it does rattle a little bit when the mechanism is locked. overall it's a good product. Read more

2023-08-31 - UPDATE: The glue has failed, and dropped my laptop without waning. Do not buy these. 2023-08-15 - These feet work decently for holding up my laptop's back end. They effected a *solid* 3.5°C drop in average GPU operating temp. on my Legion 7 Pro running Unigine Heaven at max settings (2560x1600). Beats an $80+ chiller that can't really be hauled around, in my opinion. My only main gripe is that, for the price, the feet don't *lock* in the open position. Due to airflow and positioning limitations, I couldn't attach the feet in the "expected" place, where they would extend toward the back of the laptop; instead, I had to position them at the very back facing sideways, with the feet extending OUT towards the left and right. This causes the feet to collapse when sliding the laptop left or right (though the same would be true of sliding the laptop backwards if the feet were mounted according to expectation). I think these feet should at least have a basic locking mechanism to keep them open while in use. Kind of scary thinking about accidentally dropping a $1000+ laptop. Also, the locking mechanism for *closing* the feet makes it impossible to put any kind of rubber padding on the feet tips to prevent table-scratching, though careful treatment and handling can at least prevent some of this.
