SOLAR SET UP
LIST OF HARDWARE USED 1. TobenONE USB C Docking Station Dual/Triple Monitor, USB C Dock with 150W Power Adapter 2. KOOFORWAY 8 inch Mini Laptop HD Touchscreen Portable 2-in-1 Computer,Windows 11 Pro Small Laptop 3. Sacrack USB C Charger 460W Fast GAN Charger Block 8 Port 4. ALLWEI Portable Power Station 300W 5. AUSDOM 18.5" Dual Portable Monitor this set up serves 2 functions as my travel pc and as an emergency solar pc during black outs surprisingly this monstrosity works!! and consuming 34 watts with a movie playing in the back round. at first i couldn't get the monitors to operate independently, i found that in order to get the monitors to work independently you have to use the HDMI plug ins, make sure your select HDMI signal on the monitors setting button, also because the mini laptop only has 1x USBC for communication and power i found the dual monitors won't work if their trying to draw power from the docking station as well so both HDMI cables are plugged into the dock station, the USBC communication cable for dual monitor set up is also plugged into the dock station but the USBC monitor power cable must be plugged in a different source for power, that's where the Sacrack USB C Charger 460W came into play other wise trying to draw power from the dock station forces the monitor to simply duplicate screens then the docking station and the Sacrack charger are plugged into the solar battery having to use 2x outlets to get this to work but all of it using just 34 watts. hopes this helps for anyone that wants this glorified mini set up Read more
