I was a little nervous when I seen the frequently returned message under the product. I read several reviews and decided to go for it. I have medium/long naturally wavy hair. I for the life of me can not curl my hair with a regular iron. I opened the package and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. I read the instructions and attempted a few curls. It took me a few trys and then I got it down pat. If you read the instructions it is very easy to use. There are different times for level of tightness of curl. I went with 16seconds and within a few minutes had one whole side of my hair curled. I highly recommend. Read more

As a hairstylist, I've been using a standard curling iron for decades but I can confidently say this automatic curler is a game changer! I have extremely thick longish hair and Im able to curl all my hair within 20 minutes versus the 45 minutes it takes with a typical iron. Plus, I'm able to obtain a tighter barrel curl even though the old curling iron had the same 1 inch rod size. My curls last until I wash them out. Every time I style my hair using this I get compliments on my curls specifically. Im a nig fan of automatic curlers. Recently and after years of use my original died. This seemed like a good replacement option. It works as described. Multiple heat and timing setting. Curls in both directions. It took some trial and effort since it did not include directions. The only down side is the beeping countdown. It does get a little loud and annoying after a while and especially for curls close to the ears. I wish there was a mute option. Besides that, I have no complaints! Read more

So I have long and thin hair, this didn’t work as I was hoping but this was my first time. Very simple to use but I had to curl the too half and then curl the bottom half. I started at the recommended lowest setting (320/360) which didn’t do anything. I bumped it up to 390; still nothing. Had to keep it on the high temp of 430. I used hair spray and no hair spray and really no difference. Benefit of the doubt, it’s my first time using it and I’m learning how to do hair. But, my hot curls do the same for the same amount of time it took. Read more

This is wonderful! Mainly bought for my pre-teen to start learning and being able to curl her hair and it is taking some time but I don’t have to worry about her burning herself. It’s a small learning curve for a person used to curling their own hair and super easy to do someone else’s. It is harder for shorter hair at the base of the scalp because it doesn’t wind and hold as well as a typical curling iron but I think that is to be expected. My daughter’s hair is very flat and straight. Her curls have never lasted the whole day but do with this. Great purchase and highly recommend. Read more
