This curling iron has a very solid feel. It comes with multiple-sized inserts, which are great for creating different-sized curls. They are easy to switch and fit solidly. The iron is easy to handle, and the controls make sense to use. The difference between this iron and similar ones I have seen is that on others, the inside iron part was the part that rotated. On this iron, the outside fingers rotate around the heated insert. This works fine, but it does take a little more getting used to because it means you have to be more precise on where you start. I’ve been wanting to try a beach wave curling iron to give my hair more body. I ordered the "Automatic Curling Iron Beach Wave Curling Wand, Ceramic Coated, Straightening Brush, 1 inch and 1.25 inch Portable 3-in-1 Hair Curler, 2-Way Rotation Curler, 4 Temperatures" by Realair because it has interchangeable styling tools and I thought it would give me the opportunity to create a few different looks. I also liked that it has four temperature settings, which I hoped would help minimize damage to my hair. One thing I noticed is that the temperatures in the instruction manual are listed in fahrenheit, while the settings on the curler itself are in celsius. The styling tools are very easy to change out. All you do is click the attachement buttons and they easily pull off. Sometimes I get hand cramps, and the handle is a comfortable size and shape for me. I’ve tried using the tool a few times now and have struggled with the rotating curling feature. I have very long hair that’s nearly to my waist and quite thick. I can’t seem to get more than the bottom six inches of my hair to curl. Even using very small sections, the rotating feature seems to get bogged down. When I try starting closer to my scalp, the rotation struggles before even half the length of my hair has wrapped around the curler. Starting a few inches from the ends works better, but that leaves more than half of my hair without any curl or body. The straightening tool works well for my hair because the bristles are thick and strong. I’ve tried other straightening combs in the past, and the bristles were too thin to work effectively on my hair type. Overall, I’m disappointed with this tool, mostly because it doesn’t seem sized or powerful enough for very long hair. It creates flattering, soft curls, but only on the bottom portion of my hair. I think this would work great for someone with shorter hair and create a beautiful loose curl. The straightening comb performs great on my thick hair. I wish the curling feature worked better for my hair type because it otherwise feels like a quality tool. Read more

Design: Love the color and design of this curling iron as I adore pastel pink colored items Length: Works well if you have medium to long hair as it needs length in order to twirl/curl it properly. Iron quality/heat level: ceramic coated and I do spray hair protectant spray before use, no damage to my hair, but I have only been using this once every 2 weeks to reduce damage to hair Durability: Device is sturdy and smooth, easy to hold Speed: speeds gently which is my preference to reduce change of tangles, especially with layered hair. This actually makes me want to straighten my hair more often! I have 3C hair and I usually hate straightening my hair cuz its just so much work for little gain. However, with this I am able to do cute waves/curls easily and quickly!! It works very well and gets very hot--quicky. The iron itself is really great quality and it comes with a lot of attachments. I love that it doesn't flatten my hair, but it is soft and volumized. Touchups are also quick and easy as long as my hair is not yet back to my normal curls. In the morning, if my waves are looking flat, it is a quick touch up and they're back! Of course nothing beats a newly done hair, but it is pretty close to it! Overall, I really really love this! This automatic curling iron/straightener is amazing! The quality of this product is good. The iron heats up quickly, within a couple of minutes. The curling iron pulls your hair in easily,and gently without pulling too hard. It curls your hair nicely and leaves nice curls. My hair feels soft and nice afterward. I do really like this product. The straightener is what I use most. This also works very well. It also heats up quickly. You brush your hair slowly in sections to get a nice straight, healthy, shiny, soft head of hair. I love this feature of the iron. I recommend this product and definitely feel the value is worth what your spending, as you would be spending a lot more if you were to purchase a straightener and two different size automatic curling irons separately.
