I unfortunately cannot highly* recommend this product, but it does do what it advertises to do and the product itself is good, thus the 4-stars. Why: 1) Homemade almond milk tastes nothing like almond breeze.. not the product’s fault. (Do your research.) 2) You do need to get your hands in there to clean the kettle portion, but which means inevitably getting parts of the outside wet. So… maybe “self clean” (setting), then hand wash, and let dry? 3) The main function can be done with a regular blender —though this does have more to offer than a regular* blender —namely the heating. (Higher end blenders may* have this option as well, but those, I presume, will cost you a pretty penny.. made of (24k) gold. This is much more affordable.) A little more of my thoughts: On (2): Using it after hand cleaning is a potential hazard because of the way this plugs in to power (though the alight ridge helps). It is not like a kettle which does not need to be washed after each use because its content is typically just water (or tea, if that). (It is like a kettle in that it can heat its contents 🙂↕️👍.) And it is not like a blender in that the blender-cup portion has no direct electrical part to worry about. It is just not a set-up I am very comfortable with in a product. Either don’t require manual cleaning after each use or don’t pose an electrical hazard when cleaning needs to happen often. (The compromise is to wait or don’t do things that will leave things that need more hands on cleaning. Or hand clean very carefully and take the risk...) Now the redeeming factors: It does blend very, very well. And the heat while blending is a combination that has positive effects in my (mostly hypothetical/instinctual) view —despite the hazard that could come with the formatting taken to make this possible. Have to mention that. It makes more than almond milk. I mixed some frozen pineapples to pineapple juice and water. No chunks; just liquid and foam. (Strawberries and milk will be next 😈.) Other than milk and juice it also has other functions, so even if* you end up not liking homemade nut milk, it can still have a purpose. See image for full options. Operation is easy and the automatic way of stopping and starting in intervals is *chef’s kiss.* I love having less work to do (with same gains afterwards 😬). (Though I think higher-end blenders also have this function, but again, $$$$.) Overall, the product is good, but it comes with downsides to where I would not feel comfortable recommending* it to someone —it’s just not a risk I am willing to introduce to someone. A part of that is probably because the almond milk just wasn’t worth it.. that’s mainly what I ordered this for. Maybe after some more use, I will find a way of operating it naturally and safely. For now, I am more precautious and careful —less “natural”. Please note, this is coming from someone who considers lighting a candle a source of possible danger. (I would watch that candle like it was a mini-human (toddler?) on top of the stairway—IN the rare times I choose to light it —the candle.), so please take my words with a heap of salt. Knowing this about myself, I have kept the rating more optimistic. Read more

I’ve been really happy with this little nut milk maker. It’s compact, easy to store, and surprisingly powerful for its size. I used it to make almond milk, and the results were fresh, smooth, and way better than store-bought. One thing I appreciate is how quiet it is while running. The self-cleaning function is also super convenient. I haven’t tried all the other functions yet, but for nut milk, it worked amazingly. Besides being healthier (no preservatives), it also provides great savings versus store-bought milk. Read more
