It has a good weight that can be used alone in warm climates, or layered with a camisole or tank top for cooler climates. Second, it's a tunic. It's meant to be that length. It's a great cover without being transparent. The cuff gives a pulled-together look. It's stretchy enough to pull up your arm. The sleeve-fit and length is well-done. It isn't too long or too short. I normally wear a medium but was unsure based on reviews so I ordered a medium and a small. The medium definitely runs big. Very large in the waist but fine around the neck. I tried the small and it fit perfectly. For reference, I'm 5'5", around 135lbs and 36A. Small is perfect. Ordered the caramel color as well as the peacock blue, however the peacock blue was labeled denim blue upon arrival. It still looks like the color of the peacock blue so keeping. Returning the medium. FYI these are so soft as well and light weight. If you're looking for a sweater to keep you warm in the winter...move along, nothing to see here.
