Bought as a travel cosmetic mirror. Wanted the magnification and the Led lights. Came nicely packed in bubble wrap in a box (which I'll use for traveling with it) and had some charge when it arrived. I like the varying light settings and the LED lights are plenty bright. The magnifying side is very nice and allows me to see up close clearly. My eyesight keeps getting worse. Even though I am guy who hasn't touched makeup in my life, I now own a makeup mirror. When I first tried it, I looked into it, it didn't magnify. Then, I turned the mirror around. Yup, the mirror has two sides. Even 30x, I am having trouble. I did notice that one eyebrow hair was long enough to reach across to the other eyebrow. It's not a unibrow, it's a comb over brow. I quit grooming a while back and I have an unkempt beard. It gives me that insane dishevled look I have always wanted. Now, I just growl at people. This is a sturdy mirror, light is very bright (the brightest setting was too bright for me) and worked out of the box without having to charge. For a person who doesn't already have a magnifying mirror, you will probably think the magnification is great. I have a 10x mirror and can see only a subtle difference in magnification with this mirror. What I was looking for was a greater magnification for eye makeup, much like is seen in the pictures, with a large magnification of one eye. This mirror does not do this. It is also very heavy at 1 lb, which is for me, too heavy to travel with, unless you are already a heavy packer. My 10x mirror only weighs 7 oz, and that's with 3 AAA batteries. If you are fine with the magnification it provides, this would be a great mirror to keep at home. I will keep looking! Read more
