I LOVE a good body oil!! I have tried so many trying to find the perfect one! This one is definitely a top runner!! It’s very easy to apply with the sprayer ( I will say after you’ve done an arm or two it does get a little harder to pump because your hands are so oily) but it’s manageable! It’s very lightweight and soft! It leaves your body GLOWING!!! It’s so so so moisturizing. And the smell is amazing! I would highly recommend trying this body oil! I have extremely dry skin because of an autoimmune disease. I go through body oils and butters like they are nothing. Especially in the winter months. The downside of this is that these products leave an oily mess on everything. But not the Aveeno oil. This oil absorbs immediately and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. And I personally love the light fragrance. I think that for combo and mildly dry this product is the perfect level of hydration. It's even a good option for shaving. I would suggest trying it on the face before bed, but not the oily girlies. If you have severely dry skin this product is great after bathing as a base layer. I do think most very dry skin will need a layer of a good occlusive-rich lotion on top to lock in this oil during the coldest months or if you live in a dry climate. I do wish it was available in a larger size and I find the sprayer difficult to push down with my arthritic hands. Most people will not be bothered by this but it's a consideration if you struggle opening jars and things like that. It might be better to put it in a bottle that doesn't have a sprayer. I have sensitive skin and am very picky about lotions. I use this oil from had to toe. My face doesn't break out from it. I don't get the gritty feeling after the moisture absorbs and the remaining product (thickeners) are left being l behind. I also have extremely dry skin from health issues. This oil lotion really leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated! It's also half the price of most lotions! Natural smells are very pleasant. I purchased the Aveeno body oil spray because my skin gets very dry during the winter, and overall I do like it. The scent is pleasant and light, and I really enjoy how easy it is to apply—especially right after a hot shower. It spreads evenly and feels nice on the skin. That said, I did notice one downside. If the oil transfers onto fabrics, like a plush throw, bedsheets, or clothing, the scent doesn’t hold up well. After a few days, the fabric can start to smell like old oil once the fragrance fades. Because of that, I’d definitely recommend being careful not to rub it onto anything you don’t plan to wash soon. On the skin, I like the original scent and the moisturizing effect, but it’s best used with a bit of caution around fabrics. Oh my goodness!! Where have you been all my life?!! This Aveeno dry body oil has literally transformed my skin. My skin usually gets dry this time of year and it hurts, it’s flaky and itchy. I bought this and from day 1 my skin is SO soft and moisturized. The product soaks in nicely and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy, doesn’t leave anything on my clothes. This is truly a game changer bc not 1 lotion (that I’ve literally spent a fortune on) has come close to what this oil does for my skin. The smell is light and very lovely. It just smells fresh and clean. My skin has just stayed soft and glowy since the first day. I shower almost everyday and even the days in between my skin is still soft. It’s not like the shower oil that you use on wet skin. You dry off and then use it like you would lotion. Let it soak in for a few minutes before putting on your clothes and you are good to go. I tend to get very dry skin in the winter so this has helped with feeling moisturized. To me it is not sticky if you put a moderate layer. So if you are not heavy handed it will not transfer either. If your winter skin is anything like mine, it's pretty parched this time of year. Regular lotion just doesn't cut it when it gets like this, so I thought I'd give this a try. I really like the formula and it's much more effective than lotion with just one application. You'll want to spritz it everywhere you plan to apply before rubbing it in or you're going to have a slippery mess of a bottle, but I don't mind the application at all. The formula feels great on the skin, absorbs fairly quickly for an oil and the scent is nice, not too strong and it doesn't linger. If you're struggling with dry winter skin, this is a great option. I have very sensitive skin and this oil works well me me. It leaves my skin feeling soft and it’s really helped with my dry skin in the winter months. Although the product itself is great, I have struggled a bit with how it dispenses. The pump gets stuck and can be a little hard to press. I’d also like for the spray to be more of a longer stream instead of a short burst. This is fine for arms or legs but when I try to spray it in a hard to reach place like my back it gets a bit messy. I will buy again once this bottle is finished up and hopefully the issue is isolated to this one bottle. One other thing to note is that it is not overly scented which is nice. Read more
