It was effortlessly connected to my Xbox, and I began transferring nearly 5TB of data from two SSD hard drives. The process ran smoothly without any hiccups. Junk. Died in less than 5 months.
It failed after 5 months of almost no use. I had is set up as an archive (old files) storage drive on a Mac. Files were written to it immediately after I formatted it, and were rarely accessed. While accessing it today, I realized that a number of files had disappeared, and the drive could not be accessed at all. I restarted the machine, and the drive would no longer mount. I reformatted (indicated successfully), but any attempts to write to the drive do not work. Thankfully I have a backup. Won't be buying this brand again. Read more

This was my son's Christmas gift, we tried to hook it up after he opened it and the xbox wouldn't even recognize it, so we put it away and did some research, pulled it out today and had the same result, don't wast your money, this item is garbage. Read more
Junk
We bought this in January of 2022. It's now the end of April, and we have a dead piece of garbage. It would be more useful as an expensive paperweight. Since the beginning of having this, it would constantly need restarting in order for it to pick up. Now, it has decided to completely die. Even my computer won't pick it up for a potential reformatting. Don't waste your money. Read more
