Junk. Died in less than 5 months.

It failed after 5 months of almost no use. I had is set up as an archive (old files) storage drive on a Mac. Files were written to it immediately after I formatted it, and were rarely accessed. While accessing it today, I realized that a number of files had disappeared, and the drive could not be accessed at all. I restarted the machine, and the drive would no longer mount. I reformatted (indicated successfully), but any attempts to write to the drive do not work. Thankfully I have a backup. Won't be buying this brand again. Read more

Since the beginning of having this, it would constantly need restarting in order for it to pick up. Now, it has decided to completely die.
