The bottle is very cute - resembling a Japanese arch. The bottle itself is frosted glass, where as the top is the entire piece that makes up the arch design. The scent goes on with heavy notes of powder, but after a bit the powder softens to a gentle floral scent. The 'sparkling citrus' doesn't come through as a 'normal' citrus scent - more yuzu light. After a while the smell dissipates but clings so if you actually smell the areas you spray it it will have a fragrance of Haiku. The bottle is pretty standard - 50ml (1.7 fl oz) which will last me for a few months. I probably won't wear it everyday, but it'll be a nice fragrance to wear as it smells clean. Another note is that I usually shy away from strong fragrances because they give me headaches, this one dissipates over time enough so it doesn't cause any issues. I would reapply this about every 4 to 5 hours, give or take. Read more

I hesitated to buy this because I had this prejudice in my mind against Avon. It's not what we usually think of as top shelf. I don't know why, because I've used several Avon products over the years and they were all actually excellent quality. Be that as it may, I held back. But I'm so glad I bought it, and what a bargain too. All day today, I kept getting whiffs of this lovely scent and I'd realize, "Oh! It's me!" The word I want to use is "grassy" because to me it has elements of a sunny, grassy field. Yet there's no grassy ingredients. The most noticeable scents are jasmine, lily of the valley, and a hint of citrus. It's a warm, sunny, but peaceful scent. It smells like summer. Not too strong, not too weak; it lasts quite awhile. I'm going to try some of the other Haiku fragrances, and maybe some of the other Avon scents as well. So glad I gate it a try! Read more
