I have acne prone skin and every exfoliator I've used before has left my skin super dry even when using moisturizer after. This exfoliator doesn't dry my skin, it hydrates well and I can see improvements on my skins texture. I will keep using this in my skin care routine for as long as I can. Read more
I have a love hate relationship with this scrub. It’s a SCRUB, all in caps. I mean it’s brutal. The first time I used it, I vowed to never use it again. And then for the next 3 days my skin felt like SILK. I just don’t think it’s healthy for your skin to be putting microscopic cuts in it, but it just seems to plump up the skin afterwards. Isn’t that what micro needling does lol. So I guess my advice is to use sparingly. Would not use if you have any active/open acne it might just be too much. But it’s definitely going to have a place in my routine. Read more

Unfortunately, the seam across the bottom of the tube must have been faulty because this arrived covered in a gritty goo. It was so sticky that even after trying to rinse off the tube, it was too sticky to hold. I had to toss it. I'd like to think that this was a freak acciddent and not indicative of the quality control where it was manufactured. But since I didn't actually get to use it, I can only give it an average rating and I'm not sure that's even fair. But packaging counts for something and in this case, the packaging was unacceptable. The exfoliating beads in this product can be pretty harsh if you rub it too firmly into the skin. It's best to rub it very gently and IMO if you have sensitive skin only use it once per week. Not much product is needed, perhaps a pearl-sized amount, for full coverage of the face. The scrub has a slight vanilla scent which dissipates quickly. Because it is a scrub, it's best used in a night-time routine before bed. (Using other full-coverage products on the skin - such as makeup - may make the skin react negatively when used in conjunction with this product). The brightening of the skin lasts a good week. I love the way this cleanser smells. It has a fresh, warm vanilla scent that is inviting and comforting. I typically use this as part of my night time routine, and I feel relaxed as if I'm at a spa when I use this. This is highly exfoliating. The bamboo and amber particles are a bit harsh, this is something I reserve for only a few times per week. However, when I use it all the dry, flaky skin is removed leaving my skin silky smooth. One night I made the mistake of applying a peel mask right after using this, and it burned so much I had to wash it off almost immediately. I didn't realize how effective the exfoliating power of this cleanser was until then. Now I follow up with a barrier cream instead and wake up in the morning with plump, smooth, silky skin. The tube came well-sealed with both an outer plastic seal and a foil seal inside the cap. The ingredients are minimal and beneficial. The key ingredients worth mentioning are cetearyl alcohol (a non-drying fatty alcohol and stearic acid combo that acts as an emollient and a cleanser), jojoba seed oil, amber and bamboo powders, honey and apple extracts. I like that this is made in the US and is paraben, sulfate, phalate, gluten and cruelty free. This is a great product which has earned a recurring place in my skincare routine. Read more
This has a similar feel/texture as the "other brand" apricot scrub I normally use. It's actually less abrasive, which is a good thing. The main difference is that this one smells amazing! Kind of like vanilla. It also leaves my skin softer than the "other" apricot scrub. The price is kind of high, but I did find that I really don't need to use very much. I think this tube will last a long time. If you want a break from a standard apricot scrub, give this a try! Read more
