I got the AXE Fine Fragrance Body Spray Blue Lavender (2.9 oz) for my husband. This is what he told me about the product. The scent of this AXE spray with lavender, mint and amber is light, warm and clean. It does not smell floral, heavy or strong. A light spray is all you really need to feel fresh and smell good. It is marketed as a body spray instead of deodorant spray so, he used it on his underarms, chest and neck. He said the scent was a bit much - a little overpowering. He says it works well on his underarms and will stick to using it as underarm deodorant. My husband feels that the 72-hour freshness claim seems a bit optimistic. However, it does make him feel fresh and clean for the whole day. Longevity (of the scent) is affected by several factors including skin type, humidity, weather, etc. All things considered, the scent seems to last several hours before it starts fading away. The targeted spray technology works really well. Upon pressing the nozzle, a fine controlled mist is released rather than a big cloud of fragrance. It is easier to control the amount of product released. Per my husband, a few quick presses of the nozzle were all he needed to feel fresh and smell good all day. I researched the price of AXE body sprays (various scents, 2.9 oz) selling in three different brick-and-mortar stores. Prices range between $5 and $8.50. The current price of this product, $7.99, is well within that range. Read more

I picked up the Blue Lavender (Mint + Amber) from AXE’s Fine Fragrance Collection and was pleasantly surprised by how much it differs from the old “locker room” body sprays AXE used to be known for. This one smells noticeably fresher and cleaner — there’s a crisp lavender note right up front that reads more like clean laundry or a fresh shave than a powdery floral. The mint adds a cool, light edge, and the amber in the base keeps it from fading flat or sharp. It’s not a heavy cologne, and you won’t get week‑long lasting power (no 72‑hour miracle here), but the scent is modern, wearable, and easy to like. It lasts for several hours and fades in a way that stays pleasant instead of turning sour. A quick mid‑day re‑spray keeps things fresh without feeling overpowering. I’ve worn this for everyday activities — errands, gym sessions, casual work days — and it feels versatile. The spray itself goes on evenly without feeling sticky or heavy, which I appreciate. If you’re used to classic AXE sprays, this feels a bit more refined and toned down — still masculine (or unisex if you prefer), just in a way that’s more wearable for daily life. Overall, Blue Lavender is a great choice if you want something fresh, light, and modern without the loud, synthetic vibe of older body sprays. A quick spritz keeps you smelling clean and pleasant all day, and the price is right for an affordable daily fragrance. Used by 12 year old boy Read more
I picked up the Blue Lavender (Mint + Amber) from AXE’s Fine Fragrance Collection and it’s a big step away from the heavy, loud “locker room” vibe AXE used to be known for. This one smells noticeably cleaner and more refined, with a fresh lavender note up front, a cool minty edge, and a soft, slightly warm amber in the background. The scent opens crisp and airy rather than sharp. The lavender comes across more “clean laundry / fresh shave” than powdery or floral, and the mint keeps it feeling light instead of sweet. After it settles, the amber adds a subtle smoothness so it doesn’t smell flat or harsh. It’s easy to wear and not overpowering, which makes it good for everyday use—work, gym, or just running errands. Longevity is decent for a body spray. You won’t get true 72-hour fragrance, but it does stay noticeable for several hours and fades in a clean, inoffensive way rather than turning sour. A quick re-spray later in the day is enough. The spray goes on evenly and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on the skin. If you’re used to classic AXE scents, this feels more grown-up and toned down—still masculine, still fresh, just more modern and wearable. Good option if you want something clean, light, and easy without smelling like you bathed in cologne. Read more

This is part of Axe’s Fine Fragrance Collection, and it definitely feels more elevated than the older versions many people remember. The Blue Lavender scent leans clean and fresh, with a noticeable lavender note up front, a slight cool brightness, and a warm amber base that keeps it from smelling sharp. It comes across more like a light cologne mist than a typical body spray. One thing to know is that this has strong projection. A single light spray carries well and is very noticeable. When we tested it in the living room, the scent traveled easily into nearby spaces. Because of that, a little truly goes a long way. For someone who prefers a subtle scent, you would want to apply sparingly. It’s aluminum free and designed for long lasting wear. As a quick post shower refresh or gym bag staple, it performs well. The scent stayed noticeable for quite a while, and it did not give off a heavy locker room vibe. It reads clean and confident rather than overly sweet. At around eleven dollars for three ounces, the value feels reasonable, especially since you only need a small amount per use. If you like a fragrance that makes a presence without needing a full cologne, this is a solid option. Read more
