The faucet is amazing but it is not designed for standard vanities or countertops. The product description or instructions should be clear about this but they are not. First of all, the faucet extends out over 9 inches from the wall so you need to position your sink way forward in standard 22 inch bathroom vanity counter. This means you may need to extend the countertop a 1-3 inches in the front to provide enough space to move the sink forward but this creates a big lip over the vanity and the extra depth of the countertop may not fit well with many bathroom spaces. Secondly, the faucet tilts down over 3 inches so you need to consider this when locating it vertically on the backsplash or wall. You also need to consider the extra wide counter space that you will have behind the sink if you move them forward. You could try installing extra large sinks to take up the counter space. You will need minimum 9 inch backsplash but most standard backsplashes are 4-6 inches. If you want to wash you hair in the sink, you probably should plan on 12 inch backsplash to raise the faucet enough over the sink. We installed vanity with prefab counter top and backsplash only to find out that this faucet will not work with standard counter top and backsplash dimensions. Read more
