Everything other reviews say about difficult to get out of the shipping box, difficult to unroll, painful spiky things, chair leaves dents, etc., are all true. BUT, all can be dealt with. Don't try to pull it out of the box, cut the box. Soak the roll in a bathtub of hot water for 20 minutes and it becomes very pliable and easy to unroll. If you have tender skin, wear gloves when you work with it to protect your hands. Place it on a flat surface with some weight on the corners (books work) and leave it for a few hours and it flattens out. As for the dents the chair legs/wheels leave in the surface, that's true, but I don't even notice them while sliding around on the mat. I'm happy with it. It certainly can't match the more expensive rigid mats, but it also is much less expensive. Read more

The best part about this product is that it is so flimsy, it's very easy to roll back, stick back into its package and return. In fact, this product exists for the sole purpose of being bought, shipped, then immediately shipped back, not sure how they expect to make money, maybe on people who set it on fire rather than sending it back, who knows? Slipped right out of the box, soooo thin it's very easy to unroll, then you find out that the chair doesn't even roll on it, it's so weak, the wheels create indentations - without anybody sitting on it! All and all, this poor substitute for kitchen wrap spent about 15 minutes in my house. It's now on the porch waiting to be picked up, I'm so glad home pickup is free for this product. Read more

I bought this mat about 6 months ago. After about 3 months one crack appeared in the plastic. There are now 3 different cracks at 6 months. I do not recommend because of the durability of the plastic. It also took a very long time for the mat to flatten out because it comes rolled up. One edge is still not sitting flat on the carpet.
