I don’t usually write reviews, but I HAD to write one for this product! I originally bought it because I had been growing out my natural nails in preparation for a vacation & I wanted something to protect them from breaking while in the ocean/pool. I am fairly good at doing my own nails, & I’ve tried many different products over the years. I’d never tried dip, and honestly I was so skeptical about trying this. (Especially since some of the reviews said they didn’t get the full kit, they still needed a UV light, etc.) Just to clarify, I ordered the 20-color Dip Starter Kit (picture included of everything that was in the box). The directions that are included are simple and accurate. However, I do have a few tips based on my experience to help the dip last longer: to prep your nails, push your cuticles back & ALSO make sure to gently rough up the surface of your nail with a buffing block before starting the process. Get close to your cuticle and the edges of your nail, as this will help prevent the dip from lifting off of your nail. Then wipe with an alcohol pad before applying the base coat. My dip lasts on my nails 2+ weeks without lifting! I have long nail beds, & I use the Apex method of applying my dip in order to create a softer edge near my cuticles. I dip my nails a total of 3 times. (Make sure you dust off your nails well between base coats!) After that, I apply activator once, and then I examine my nails to make sure the dip isn’t lumpy. If it is, I gently file it with a fine grit nail file until it is evened out. Then, I apply another coat of activator. Once that’s dry, I apply the first thin top coat layer. It will look weird and splotchy after your first top coat, that’s normal! I let the first layer dry for about 2 minutes before applying the second layer of top coat. Make sure you give your nails ample time to dry after the second top coat, like at least 3 minutes. I’ve noticed that if I don’t, my nails sometimes get little dents in them. To remove the dip, file off the top coat until it’s not shiny. Fill a bowl with hot water, get a sandwich sized ziplock bag, fold up a paper towel & put it in the bag. Fill the bag with just enough acetone to soak the paper towel and have a little extra in the bag. Place one hand in the bag. Put that bagged hand into the bowl of hot water just past your fingertips and rub your nails on the paper towel. Your dip should come off in like 10 minutes! The whole process takes me around 1.5 hours including removal and reapplication, but it is SO worth it to me to have a manicure that’s this easy, durable, lasts this long, and that I didn’t pay salon prices for (all due respect to nail techs out there, y’all rock but it has not been in my budget lately!) Sorry for the long review, but I hope this helps someone who is on the fence about ordering like I was! Read more

I LOVE this duo! FINALLY found the 'right' brown polish (for ME💯). The glitter looks great over the brown also, or just solo.👍🔥💯 I do A LOT of art work and I'm constantly washing my hands, opening paint lids, chipping at dried paint with my fingernails... Making my nail polish chip away. So far so GOOD with this polish. NO PEELING NO CHIPPING!! It has already passed 'The Test' the first day🥳👍 it's going on day three and still FABULOUS 😉😁 Read more

So I had tried another azure kit before I purchased this one and really liked it. The colors were true and the liquids were easy to work with. After I received this one, I decided to swatch the whole kit first before using it for a manicure. Several of the colors are not really as depicted and a couple are actually reversed. For example my 005 looks more like 004 and my 004 looks more like 005, although both more muted than pictured. My 010 is clear with glitter, which is actually fine, but by the pics I was expecting a white with glitter. My black color is true but none of the other deeper tones are as rich as pictured. And I believe others have mentioned their red, 007, is more orange? I wouldn't call it orange but it definitely leans more bright, cherry jolly rancher like the chart of the colors showing their numbers. I could go on but you get the idea. I still gave this kit 4 stars overall because the colors are not bad, just a little different than expected and the kit overall is easy to use and beginner friendly, the powders are nice and light and liquids a good consistency, don't contaminate easily and give a nice shine. Also the price on these kits is really affordable for what you get. Read more

I've been doing my own manicures for years. I have gels and a UV light. It can be tricky, especially, the glitter polishes. But this was soooo easy. Make sure you have clean nails. Push back your cuticles, trim around your nails, file your nails, and shape them. Then follow the instructions. I learned - this first time around - that it's better to do a thin base coat and dip, then repeat 3x. I wasn't sure what I was doing and put the base coat on a little thick and this meant for lumpy nails. But not to worry, you can file that down to smooth it out AFTER you out in the activator coat and wait about a minute. Two coats of the gel top coat and my nails are pretty, sparkly, and they feel strong! My one complaint is that the pink I chose looks nude on me. But still sparkly. I can't wait to try the other colors. This comes with so much and you don't use very much for one application. I imagine this set will last me a long while. It's been a few days of normal wear, and they still look great and I've gotten lots of compliments. UPDATE >>> My nails lasted about a week before they started popping off. (They come off whole, which is nice.) I do cook a lot and wash my hands constantly (then apply lotion), so I never keep manicures long BUT the great thing about this is that it takes so little time to do my nails, I just re did the ones that popped off and now my manicure is perfect again. If you are buying for cats eye, don't. The polish is not fluid enough to make the magnet work. Or the magnet is not strong enough. It starts drying so the there isn't any movement of the metals. but the nail polish is very nice and I like the brand. Read more
