So easy to use! Definitely recommended. Been using it for almost 6 months now. I love how I don’t have to worry about turning it on or off— it turns on once it senses water and turns off when not in use. The charge lasts a super long time. I usually decide to charge it every other week or so but it’s never really died out on me. The temperature is easy to read and interpret. Red for hot, green for perfect, blue for cold (in addition to the actual temp number). The item itself is cute and fits in the palm of my hand. I’m so dumb 🤦♂️. The contacts on the duck had developed some hard water spots and were blocking continuity. Just needed a sharp pointed thing to scrape the contacts to expose the metal again. Ok, great thermometer. Lol ——— Original: Only charged once - can’t recharge it. Lasted a while on that charge, but now it’s useless. Not worth the price for one use. I did like it. I really loved this duck at first. It still works but occasionally the temperature doesn't light up and you have to read the blackish numbers on the black background because it won't light up even when charged. The little metal pieces that detect the temperature start to corrode so you have to scrape them to get to work again and still sometimes it wont light up. The digital thermometer held up better than the analog wand version attached to a rubber ducky. I like the look of the rubber ducky in the bath though there are probably thermometers that are more accurate. Very easy to keep charged up. Read more
I love this bathtub temperature gauge! We had originally gotten a different ducky temperature monitor that only shows the word “hot” on the bottom if the water gets too hot. However, I had noticed that it was saying “hot” even when the water felt a little too cold and turning the duck upside down to get a read was super annoying. Then we ordered this product. It was so much easier to use! You just push the on button, stick in in the water, and it tells you the exact temperature of the water on the duck’s back, so you don’t have to do anything else! I could tell how close to the heat threshold the water was. It has led lights on it that glow blue when the water is too cold, green when it is just right, and red when it is too hot. I haven’t yet had to charge the duck and have used it twice now. It definitely has made bath time much easier on this first time mom. Read more
