I have very dry skin and I dip these Q-tips into my lotion and I’m able to put lotion into my ears and around my ears with more safety and I don’t have to worry about going too deep because there’s a wide section that will not let you pass too far into your air canal. It’s very thick and the size is perfect. It’s also great to use on babies. We have babies around here and I use them to clean their ears as well. They’re very easy to use their durable and effective. I like the tight fibers on the swabs. They are great for cleaning out my ears as well as getting dust out of tight spots on my computer keyboard, cleaning the tv remote control (when did something get spilled on that?🤔) or any tight spaces like the groove around the knife cutting attachment on my kitchen knife block. Not to mention the keyboard on my phone. They aren't soft tips like regular cotton buds but they don't fall apart when wet either. I like to dip them in rubbing alcohol and squeeze out the extra so they are almost dry for cleaning electrical things. I like that you have the choice of the round end or the cone end to get into tight spots. They aren't as thick as regular cotton swabs but work better for cleaning. Read more

These work very well for cleaning small spaces and crevices HOWEVER do not put them near your ears. There is nothing soft about them. The pointy end is really a POINT. The other end is like a screw. neither end is soft cotton. Read more
