I recently ordered a stunning dress for our one-year-old great-granddaughter! It’s a delightful shade of pink and I ordered a size 12-18 months. This baby girl romper dress fits my great granddaughter, with some room to grow, but not too much. The main solid pink fabric is 100% cotton, it feels like it is a little bit of a thicker gauze material, which is slightly see-through, making it very lightweight and breathable. The tulle fabric is 100% polyester. And of course, it is extremely see-through, very lightweight, and very breathable. The tulle fabric is designed to where it is not going to be next to the babies skin which I think is an added plus because sometimes this kind of fabric could irritate. However, my great granddaughter had no problems with the tulle fabric. It features an elastic neckline that stretches sufficiently to allow you to pull the romper right over the baby’s head with ease. This dress features short sleeves with a tulle overlay. The sleeves have an elastic band sewn in, creating a ruffled effect that I find incredibly cute. The tulle overlay on the sleeves also has the same embossed flowers and leaves as the bottom skirt, which is a beautiful detail. There are three snaps at the bottom for convenient diaper changes, a feature I appreciate as it’s always needed. The dress also has elastic around each leg, ensuring comfort. The dress comes with a two-layer tutu. The inner layer is a simple light pink, while the outer layer is simply beautiful. It’s adorned with sewn leaves and flowers of various sizes, creating a three-dimensional effect. Some of the flowers are lightly sewn on, giving them a raised appearance. A gorgeous front bow is centrally placed, enhancing the overall look of the dress. I absolutely adore the combination of the romper and the tutu, especially the embossed flowers that stand out. However, I have a concern. Since I know little kids tend to put things in their mouths, and these loose flowers are particularly prone to being swallowed, I would be cautious around babies wearing this style. They would need to be supervised at all times to prevent choking hazards. Overall, the stitching throughout the outfit is good, and the inside of the dress has finished hems, which adds to its quality. They also included a bow that matches the netting on the dress, with raised flowers and embroidered flowers sewn onto a stretchy band that would fit over a baby’s head easily. In conclusion, this is an absolutely, totally, beautiful dress at a fair price. My great granddaughter looks very beautiful in this dress. She reminds me of a little fairy princess in this beautiful outfit. However, it’s important to supervise babies while they wear it due to the loose flowers that are just barely sewn on. Read more
My niece's first baby is due this fall so I have been looking at little outfits for her. It's going to be a while before her daughter can fit into this dress as I ordered a 6 to 9 month size. Overall, this is actually a pretty dress but I do have some concerns. The inner portion of the dress, a rather thin Indian style cotton appears to be fairly well made with nice even stitches. It has three plastic snaps at the crotch which allow you to pull the dress over baby's head and secure it. My concern is actually the embroidery tulle which the dress is adorned with. It appears to be evenly cut but there is no bottom hem and they have cut through the embroidery, compromising its integrity and potentially causing unraveling. Has a lot of loose hanging strings which has caused the design to be rather cheap looking. I'm not exactly sure what the embroidered word is, possibly "beautiful"? I am happy to find that this is machine washable, though I'm unsure how well the embroidery tulle will hold up to that. The additional bow is nicely done and is sewn on to a flesh colored stretchy band similar to a hair tie. It stretches pretty large easily so I do not believe it will put a lot of pressure on baby's head. All in all, it looks to be decently made minus the embroidery fabric's cut and loose threads. I am going to have to go back and snip the loose threads off by hand which is a pain. Presently priced at $17.89, that might be within fair market value minus all the inconsistent hanging threads and the disadvantage of the unhemmed bottom seam of the embroidery tull. Read more
I got this romper dress for my granddaughter, and it is absolutely adorable. The combination of the linen and tulle gives it a really cute, dressed-up look while still feeling light and comfortable for summer. The puff sleeves add a sweet touch, and the fit was just right—easy to put on and take off, which is always a plus with little ones. The material feels soft and breathable, so it’s gentle on her skin. The matching headband is a great bonus and really completes the outfit. It looks perfect for special occasions, photos, or even just a cute everyday outfit. Overall, a beautiful little outfit with great quality and style. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for something cute and comfortable for their little one. Read more
