First off I purchased this item because we all know how expensive baby stuff is! I saw this and how much cheaper it was than J&J so decided to order it and give it a try. I ordered two- the vanilla and oat one as well as the original. The vanilla and oat pump opened up in the box on the way here and spilled a little bit in the box. Let me tell you that box smelled amazing! The scent of that one smells so good and was not overpowering like some others out there. Next was to try it! It cleans very well, is truly tear free, and my little guy has no issues with it and comes out smelling amazing after bath time. My sister in law even smelled it and said it might walk off to her girls bathroom 😂😂😂 I was also surprised because it lathers very well and a little goes a long way. I use baby shampoo bc other shampoos give me dandruff, I need a gentle shampoo. I don't use it for 'body wash.' I don't use Johnson's because the perfume is waaay too strong. I tried 'Vanilla and Oats' because it sounded like a very subtile scent, the trouble is they put too much scent in. "Soft powder" is not as strong of scent, that's what I like. Great newborn baby soap. Cleans his skin and hair as it should and keeps baby's skin soft and is very moisturizing. This huge bottle DEFINITELY is worth what I paid. Baby takes bath every night. We go through one bottle every 2 months. One this I will say. I didn't at first like how it doesn't lather as much as I'm use to ... But that because it's moisturizing and the suds would actually dry the babies sensitive skin. I didn't actually know you shouldn't put lotion on newborn for quite some time ...
