These are great, the sound is solid and the construction even more so. The maraccas are heavy duty so may want to be careful with those, but they are so much fun for babies. The tambourine is awesome too. We got this stuff along with a little piano and our daughter uses this stuff daily. Well worth the price and again, everything seems solid. Read more

I'm very happy with this purchase, and so is my 11-month-old great-nephew. The instruments are well made and it's a nice assortment of things you can hit and shake, though only one that you can blow. It may not seem important, but it's very attractive and the color palette is beautiful. Finally, I appreciate that they included a simple bag where you can store all the instruments. I got this for my friends' little girl and it got a big smile out of her! She's too young to play with them yet (she's only 3 months old), but I think she's going to really enjoy them when she gets a little older! The quality of the instruments are quite good and they're pretty sturdy. Also, for baby instruments, the sound is pretty good! The set is really cute and pretty decent for the cost. It appears to be of good quality, I’m sure it will last my DayCare toddlers a good while! We will certainly get our moneys worth out of it. That being said, I teach my little ones to be respectful of each other, others property and all of the learning tools and equipment I purchase for us. Musical equipment and books at the top of that list. If someone has not instilled this respect, your opinion and longevity of these items will differ from mine. My group is aged 22 months to 7 1/2 yrs old, and even the parents have joined in on our little jam sessions. My only disappointment was of the clarinet I believe it was supposed to be? It is cute and colorful, however it is not a functional musical piece. It has only one hole drilled in one end, the other end is solid wood. So even with my poor musical abilities, I do not believe any one could make this operable! Again I was so pleased with the rest of this set, I did not even mention it to the company or ask for any compensation or return. Love this as a gift for a one year old. It was so much fun and she plays with it everyday. There are many different instruments and they all sounded awesome. They are very sturdy which is great as a one year old tends to throw things. They are brightly colored which is great to keep her busy and interested in them.
