I really wanted this Baby Vibrating Sleep Soother to help my newborn sleep better, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing purchases I’ve made as a parent. The vibration settings are poorly designed — they’re either so weak they do absolutely nothing or so strong they become distracting. Not a single mode actually soothed my baby, and in some cases, it made him more alert instead of sleepy. The built-in timer is another major issue. It shuts off way too quickly, and every time it stops, my baby wakes right back up. Instead of helping with sleep, it created more nighttime disruptions and made things harder. The overall build quality feels cheap. The pad doesn’t stay in place in the crib, bassinet, or stroller — it constantly shifts around no matter how I position it. For something intended to calm a baby, it’s frustrating how unstable it is. Even the smell was off when I first opened the box; it had a noticeable plastic odor that I had to let air out for a few days. Battery life is terrible, and to make things worse, the product seems to stop working completely without warning. I’ve had two of these break in a six-month period. The most recent one only lasted three weeks before refusing to turn on at all. Another one I bought previously died in just a couple of days. For a product that costs nearly forty dollars, this level of inconsistency is completely unacceptable. My baby was never soothed by it — if anything, he was more excited by the lights and vibrations instead of calming down. Even after trying it multiple times, he still took around 30 minutes to fall asleep, just like before. At that point, it felt totally useless, and honestly, a simple small toy would have provided the same benefit without all the hassle. Between the weak performance, constant malfunctions, shifting design, terrible battery, and the fact that multiple units stopped working in such a short time, I can confidently say this is not worth the money at all. I've been wanting one of these for ages and finally got it for the new baby! This one is made of a nice soft fabric and is large enough to really work. I really like the multiple length and intensity settings, and how it gradually diminishes before shut off so it isn't abrupt and jarring for my baby. It really is a lifesaver allowing me a little more rest and the baby too. Read more
Well we loved this until now. I had it for 3 months with 0 issues and then last night it just stopped working. I thought it may be dead so I charged it, it was fully charged and all the lights come on but it no longer vibrates for no reason. Tried opening it so switch the batteries because that's one of the troubleshooting suggestions and there are no interchangeable batteries so its just garbage now. Very upset. Read more
