Rounded-Tip Is Safe For Babies & Adults
These frosted glass nail files are perfect for keeping our baby's nails short and smooth, to prevent face-scratching. So many of these frosted glass files have a sharp tip on the file's end, which is extremely dangerous, and could result in a baby being cut or even (gasp!) poked in the eye. It makes me nervous just looking at those files with the sharp tip. Even for adult use, I would not want a sharp tip on my nail file. These files have a safely rounded tip, making them ideal for safe filing of nails. Read more

Good for babies
So i tried this out right away and it works but it takes longer for the nail to wear down. It is probably made of some sort of plastic but it feels like glass. The file portion itself is very very soft and perfect for baby nails. We've had a lot of trouble finding one fine enough for our 7 mo. This is going to be very nice for his sensitive fine fingernails. Would recommend it with the heads up that it will take time to get the nails down but much gentler is the key! Read more
