As someone who has spent their entire life engaged in activities like dirt biking, skateboarding, snowboarding, and BMX racing, I've been fortunate to avoid serious falls resulting in back or spine injuries. Now in my 50s, my passion for these activities remains unchanged, with the only difference being that recovering from a fall takes a bit longer. Recognizing the importance of protecting my spine from potential injuries, I decided to give this spine protector a try. Upon trying it out, I found it to be well-made, lightweight enough for extended use, and easily worn under a riding jersey. The three adjustable straps ensure a secure fit, and once properly adjusted, it stays in place even during vigorous activities. It fits really good, I am able to bend and apply my snowboarding straps. It does not feel like I am even wearing one. It is affordable to protect my spine. The quality is great I have no complaints. Last year I slipped on ice and landed on my back. I had a metal water flask in my backpack that injured my lower back. This would have came in handy if i had this on. Read more

Well made as far as protecting your spine from crash injuries. Which matters a lot if you realize that statistics happen to people just like us - as it did to me. BUT it has a huge Velcro corset that wraps around your belly that make it hard for a person to breathe - unless you are really slender in the waist like a men's health magazine cover boy. I still really want to like this product and use it on every bike ride. I was hit from behind by a drunk driver in June of 2023 and spent a month in the hospital and decided that I need this. But I need to reduce my diet to 1000 calories a day to comfortably fit into it (or get it modified by a tailor). Not recommended for anyone who doesn't look like the dudes in the bike ads. But without this, you might one day look like the people in the wheelchair ads. Read more

I bought this for a snowboarding trip. I have a pinch nerve in my cervical spine due to falling from skying. This time I went snowboarding and wanted to make sure my back was protected.
