Bitter Water—July 18, 2025✓ Verified purchase
I want to turn exactly four ounces of milk into an obscene pile of foam. An 8 oz. pitcher felt too small; I regularly risked overflow for less foam than I want. 12 oz. was too big for my Stilosa's stubby little steam wand. I'd end up with huge bubbles that collapsed quickly. This guy? Perfection. Exactly what I need. It isn't marked, but the belly makes it fairly easy to visually estimate your pour. The widest point is a little more than 4 oz. I'm honestly shocked by how good the construction is. The walls are a tad thicker than my other pitchers, and the extended handle is really comfy. The height is just right for my machine--I easily got the perfect texture on my first attempt. I finally made the unfashionably decadent cappuccino of my dreams! If you need EXACTLY ten ounces, this is it. Literally. There's one other 10 oz steaming pitcher available and it's probably sold out. Read more

This item was an absolutely perfect match for the "De'Longhi EC155 15 BAR Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker" which I purchased at the same time. To make a PERFECT cappuccino also consider getting the above espresso maker, the 2.5 oz "Bodum Pavina Double-Wall Thermo Glasses, Set of 2" and the "RSVP Terry's Tamper". For around $100 this combo makes a cappuccino that is JUST as good as any coffee shop I've patronized! Be sure to get coffee especially fine-ground for espressos... don't just get an "espresso blend" for drip coffee makers! You can get "Cafe Bustelo" brand here on Amazon (look at its great reviews) or just about any big discount store and it makes a perfect crema and is delicious. Look for a yellow can. Set aside an 11-12 oz coffee cup and pull an espresso that just fills the 2.5 oz Bodum Pavina glass (the crema should drag across the bottom of the spouts on the espresso maker. Set the espresso aside and fill the frothing pitcher with COLD milk. We successfully use plain almond milk or 2% cow milk. >>Be sure to only fill to just under the indentation in the middle of the pitcher.<< Use the steamer wand to froth the milk following the instructions that come with the EC155. The milk *should* froth up to just nearly overflowing, making just the right amount of froth. If you use coffee flavorings (like Torani Brand syrups) put them in the coffee cup first (2-3 teaspoons is what we like)... then pour on the froth... then pour your coffee on top. (Be careful... the wide and thick Bodum Pavina cup is a little hard to pour from without espresso dribbling down the side.) Give a very slight stir with a spoon and serve. If you like a very hot cappuccino just microwave for 20-30 seconds and then serve. Anyway, the frothing pitcher is high quality, should last forever, and as stated is PERFECT with the combo that we put together after much research. Enjoy! Read more

I was searching for a smaller frothing cup and of the 3 I tried, this was the most useful. I already have the typical 12oz (350ml) & 15.2oz (450ml) frothing cups and find either size desirable for cappuccino or latte drinks using 6-9 oz of milk. But I prefer cortado drinks with less milk, approximately 3 oz of milk, & don't like pouting the extra milk down the sink. I also tried the 200 ml Hulisen and 250 ml Dailyart which were returned. This one was 295ml (10oz) My espresso machine is the Ascaso Steel Duo and the steam wand is on the short side. I needed to made sure the distance from the cup rim to the bottom of the cup was short so they worked well with my Ascaso. All 3 of the cups were between 3" & 3 1/4" in height and were suitable. The BACKK RSVP brand held the most capacity but kept it's short profile, 3-1/4". The middle of the cup bulges out and this allows frothing 3oz to 4-1/2 oz of milk without overflowing the cup in the process. Yes, they indicate the cup has a 10 oz capacity but that's right up to the rim of the cup. Two reasons for the 4 stars are: 1 - I prefer a black frothing cup and this one is only available in a polished stainless steel. 2 - Of the three, this was the only one without measurements on the cups interior showing either ml or oz graduations. However, the milk froths well without overflowing the cup with smaller quantities of milk and the spout pours well for making art without dripping. Hope this helps if you're looking for a smaller frothing cup. Read more

This little pitcher works great for micro-foam for single coffee drinks. I have a Gaggia Classic espresso machine and the steam wand comes close to the counter. This little guy squeezes right under the wand! Presto! I typically make one cappuccino or latte at a time. I through this pitcher in the freezer, make a double shot of espresso, get the pitcher out and pour milk up to the crease or bend in the pitcher, and with the wand remaining at the bottom of the pitcher the whole time, make some wicked good micro-foam! I was really excited with the results. The pitcher goes right into the dishwasher, no problem- it's stainless steel! Read more

I order this pitcher online. The photo on amazon.com shows 3 frothing pitchers but I only got one in the mail. Thats deceiving the customers not good. I used the tiny short pitcher to make cappuccino but my steam stem keeps hitting the bottom of the pitcher that's because its too short.I can barely get my small fingers around the handle. Folks if you need a frothing pitcher buy a larger size not this tinnie tiny thing. Read more
