This backpack gave my 15 year old everything she needs. The storage capacity is awesome. There's straps, buckles, and zippers to keep everything in place. The laptop sleeve is perfect for her chromebook. It's large enough for her gym clothes, notebooks, pens, and pencils. There's pockets for her phone, portable fan, sunglasses and make-up. This backpack is seriously awesome. Great storage capacity with all the belts and buckles to keep everything secure, especially technology. The shoulder straps are thick and breathable, which is a must for the student we have going from middle to high school. They have a lot of stuff to carry everyday, and unfortunately got a school locker that is high up, so they want to carry all their stuff. The product is absolutely functional for this, great for travel ability through out the school day. The materials and seams are all quality and very durable. I think this book bag will last for years making it a great value. The design, color and style are perfect as well. As patches, little doodles and pins are already being embellished on it as I type this, this will become a uniquely yours sort of bag. Overall, this backpack feels sturdy and well crafted enough for casual use. All of the zippers worked fine and there were no glaring issues with seams. I expect it to hold up nicely for carry-on luggage, but not for activities requiring more rugged gear. It has padding in the areas that need it the most. In terms of capacity, I appreciate that it has space for water bottles on both sides. The use of elastic bands instead of drawstrings to prevent the water bottles from sliding out is certainly a choice. I’m unsure how those will hold up with extended use. There are various pockets inside and certainly enough space to strap in a decently sized laptop. Do be aware that the side straps above the water bottle don’t have quick release buckles and depending on your use case this may be a pro or a con. I haven’t seen many other backpacks that have a luggage strap on the back, so that’s a neat feature. The little tag on the backpack for care instructions points out that the backpack will arrive with a little smell and I can attest to it smelling new, but not having a noticeable enough smell to be a demerit. Most of us ladies know that there's nothing quite like a backpack for expansive storage, easy-carry, and versatility. No, this backpack may not see you through a whole bunch of down-and-dirty wilderness hikes :), but it's perfect for a classy hold-all that you can use for most any purpose.
