UPDATE: The bag set outside for 2 days, and the smell is mostly gone. The company did reach out to offer a solution, and I greatly appreciate it. If you like the style of the bag, I definitely think it's worth the money, and I would buy this again in the future. This backpack is so cute in person. The pics do not do it justice. It is perfect for a teen or preteen. So many compartments and fun pockets. However, the smell of this bag is so overwhelming, I had to set it outside. I am not sure if this is some type of rodent repellent or what, but man it is potent. I am hoping some fresh air will help. Read more
