1/10/2026 : I already had wiring, I just needed to switch from an ahd camera to this non-ahd one, since my new Kenwood doesn't support ahd cameras. I was worried that the image quality would be much worse, but, honestly, it looks more or less the same to me, compared to the "1080p ahd" camera I had before. Couldn't be happier. I only use the camera when I reverse, which doesn't happen often, but it is still critical for safety. I wanted this camera because I didn't want any LEDs that would be on all the time, and this works perfectly. I have yet to try it out at night time, but, I expect it should work fine. I don't live or drive anywhere that is pitch dark, so I think it'll be fine. If it is terrible at night, or if anything goes wrong, I will update here.
