The lotion is thick, but it's still pretty easy to apply and a little goes a long way. It lasts a long time in water. The water will bead off of you for about an hour. I've had really bad breakouts (on face) with other sunblocks, but this one doesn't bother my skin. The white cast ranges from subtle to unnoticeable. In all, the sunblock is pretty great.
