Excellent ingredients that are safe, really pleased. But be prepared, it's greasy. Super shiny and feels heavy. But it's either that, or the toxic chemicals in the other brands. I go with this. Would be vastly better with daily use if you wear makeup if it dried down. At the pool? No make up? Hiking? Great product. Just a little lighter feeling - has a vaseline type consistency - would be great. Read more

My new sunscreen. No harsh chemicals. No crazy smell. Goes on smooth. Protects skin and moisturizing. Goes on white and fades instantly. I'm fair skin. No burn after 3 hours in pool. Good price as well. Read more

It's great. You do get what you pay for in the case of sunscreen. To keep the toxic stuff away, it's well worth the extra dollars! Read more

This has been my go-to sunscreen for many years now. It's all natural, almost all organic and it's free of all the scary nasties you'll find in chemical sunscreens. I've found it effective (I don't burn when I sit out in the sun after applying this) and it doesn't irritate my skin. The only downside (and the reason I've given it four stars instead of five) is that it's very thick/oily, so it doesn't spread as easily on the skin as chemical-laden sunscreens. But four stars is still a good rating in my book, and I'd gladly trade a little more effort to apply this for all the harmful ingredients in other types of sunscreens any day. Pros: All natural and almost all organic. Free of harmful, scary ingredients. Effective 30spf protection. Pleasant, very light natural scent. Gentle on sensitive skin (at least on mine). Cons: Very thick/oily and doesn't spread as easily as chemical sunscreens. Bottom line: It's totally worth working a little harder to apply this than risking my health with quick and easy chemical alternatives. I'll keep buying this product and I totally recommend it. I love this sunblock. My arms got incredibly itchy from the sun. To the point where it has woken me up and I can't get back to sleep. Using this sunblock has been a lifesaver. Read more

I have skin damage from too much unprotected fun in the sun. I have used this product twice on my face since I received it and I really like it. It does feel a little greasy on my face but itβs better than more dermatology visits. Read more

Before purchasing this sun screen, I was looking for a specific sunscreen for my baby, who is eight months old. I follow a dermatologist on IG and she recommended this brand and specific one. (Active) It only has five ingredients in it which is great for sensitive skin and less likely to have a reaction when wearing it. Which is what I was looking for Iβm allergic to chemical sunscreen and can only wear a handful of mineral sunscreens. Plus I wanted something safe for my baby. She recommended this one over the kids and baby one from the same brand because the other ones have more ingredients which could potentially irritate the skin. The consistency is very thick and does leave a little bit of a white cast but you have to remember it is all organic and also a mineral sunscreen. If you donβt want a white cast, I would recommend a chemical sunscreen, my baby, my son, husband and I all wore the sunscreen and didnβt have any issues. It is a little harder to rub in and also when taking it off you need to use some kind of cleanser. I recommend based on it being organic and safe. Especially if you are using it on little ones. I've been trying to find the perfect mineral sunscreen. Believe me when I tell you I've done HOURS of research. I have yet to find one. PROS: Clean ingredients, one of the best rated on EWG. Didn't cause breakout on face (I have sensitive, acne prone skin). Seems to do the job (hard to tell here, I don't burn easily & haven't used it under tropical sun). Minimal white cast (I have tan skin). Cons: Not a lot of product (even with all the spreading, you end up going through it quickly). Separation (not a huge deal, just gotta shake it vigorously). MAJOR - Extremely thick & oily. (I thought others were exaggerating, but seriously. I live somewhere humid. The only way the application is tolerable is if I sit in blasting A/C while I put it on, then sit for a half hour waiting for it to "absorb." The vigorous rubbing required makes me feel extra hot, so reapplying out on a humid sunny day can feel super gross. It feels like you're trapping moisture under a thick oily film. I know physical sunscreens are supposed to sit on your skin. But out of the ones I've used, I've FELT this one on my skin the most. Like my skin is suffocating. I use it on my face because I'm sensitive to chemicals, but a setting powder is NECESSARY. It's too shiny & slides around with sweat. You gotta lock it in.) Overall, it's not the worst. But I won't be repurchasing. Read more
