This bag was perfect while traveling in Scotland. Great amount of space and hiding spots. I was able to fit an extra adult sweater and kids layering long sleeve along with a water bottle and wallet. I never had to use the backpack option but probably could have in some situations. I didn't have any issues entering main attractions with it's size. I do want to warn you about the weight. When it's empty it has some heaviness to it. So I did have to switch shoulders ever few hours when I had it fully packed. I recommend this bag! Read more

The bag quality is great. It's got one large pocket and side pockets. I tried to cramp my 15 inch laptop in the bag and it was too tight. The bag itself is great for travel with all the small pockets and shoulder straps and crossbody straps. The bag is very functional and can work as a work bag, travel bag, and even a diaper back. In terms of price, I think it's around the price for the brand and the type of bag. Though if you're shopping for a non-branded bag, there are probably alternatives at a slightly lowered price. As a # 1 advocate of Baggallini bags and owner of a couple of dozen (literally!) this is THE PERFECT one for me. My small baggs are too small to hold what comprises MY daily essentials and the large totes become too heavy as I tend to overfill. This Modern Everyday Shopper Tote fits my requirements perfectly….good capacity without being overly heavy with lovely pockets. Baggallini bags are gorgeously well made.
