I think you have to have a body like the model , I’m not fat by any means (127 lbs, 5’4) but this hugged the wrong curves the wrong way. If you’ve had c-sections or struggle with your tummy, this might not flatter you because it hugs the exact part of my body I work on, to no avail! Not flattering. My photo does not do this beautiful, sift cardigan justice!! I got it in the pale blue color and it’s exactly the color shown on Amazon, a soft, light blue that’s incredibly pretty. It comes in a variety of colors that you can choose from, each color as pretty as the next making it hard to make a decision on color so you’ll prob order several just like I’m going to. I wasn’t sure about ordering it as I couldn’t find what fabric it was made from on Amazon, other than it stating that it’s a “cotton blend”, well not knowing what that blend is takes some of the charm away from the sweater. But, it looked so pretty that I took the chance and I’m glad I did. It’s a cotton 65%/poly 35% blend so the cotton gives it its structure and a bit of softness and the poly gives it its some extra softness. So it’s top quality fabric and design. And it is quite soft to the touch. It definitely hugs all the right places, my midsection, giving me a slender look through the tummy and then it widens out over the bust area creating a sexy, huggable look and feel. It has a bit of thickness and it’s warm even in winter up here in north country, however it’s not heavyweight. I can wear this in the summer in cool, air conditioned buildings or on cooler evenings and also in winter so it’s an all season sweater. Is it a good value for your money? I think it’s about average price for an attractive sweater that’s predominantly cotton, however, truthfully, clothing is getting more and more expensive with soaring prices so how can anyone say that anything is actually a good value for your money anymore? This sweater can be dressed up for dinner out or dressed down with jeans and you can create your own sexy look with top and or bottom buttons open or button it all the way up for a more mature, classical look. Either way it’s a knock out. You might want to order up, it’s a tight fit. For size comparison I’m 5’4” 138# and I normally wear M but ordered this in large which is a good thing because the L is tight on me. Overall this is a winner and I highly recommend this sweater. This cardigan is super flattering because of where it hits at the waist, but the chest area runs a little short, which causes the waist seam to pull up slightly onto my breasts. Even with that, I still love it and find myself reaching for it often. It has washed very well with no pilling so far, and the buttons are sewn on securely—they don’t pull apart or gap at the cleavage. Overall, it’s a well-made, flattering piece with a minor fit quirk.
